Thanks for watching man. You can get ND filters which I have yet to try, I'm buying some this week so I'll let you know how they are. I believe you can use manual mode too to set your own exposure but I've not explored this yet.

Hiya mate, I've got the Raleigh evo2 also bought from Halfords. I got the extended warranty but they didn't honour it, load of hassle trying to get the bike serviced. But the evo2 is great - a bit heavy, but I go everywhere on it. Gotta be good for your condition..!

Watching from Rhyl! I have made the same journey on my Brompton T-line and there's only one particular hill that is difficult along that route, with only 4 gears I have to get off and push, I am working on adding an extra gear and a double chainring for climbing. I also have the same Carrera Intercity because it was cheap 2nd hand and think it handles better in the wet with the bigger fatter tyres. However, I didn't like I had to angle down the brakes and lower the stem and fold the handlebars to the left between the wheels every fold, it was fiddly, so I used a set of allen keys to remove the shifters and brakes and remove the stem and mount it backwards so now it folds to the right like a Brompton and I don't have to faff with the brakes and stem adjustments every time.

You get what you pay for. I have a TERN VERGE X11. its the best of both worlds can fold up. And it can go as fast as most full sized bikes. And climb hills like they dont exist. £2500. Better than anyother folder. And ive had it for 7 years and had no maintainance done. Aside from chains and tire changes. And 2 cassettes. The frame is a work of art.

I had a bike built by Halfords, and had to push it home. Brakes didn't work, handle bars were loose, seat was loose, and the gears weren't indexing properly. The wheels had loose spokes as well. Thing is, if you put their bikes together yourself, they won't honour any warranty issues down the line. Let them put it together, and then check it yourself at home, or get a proper bike mechanic to check it over. Don't ride away on anything Halfords have put together.

To be fair they were nice lads in the shop and they did their best! I spose they’ve probably got a lot on with the amount of bikes they probably have to build/sell. I didn’t mean to slander them in the vid really I was just joking around. I got a bargain from them with this little bike and I can’t complain at all, but yeah, always worth checking things after collection 😂

Caveat Emptor I purchased a reduced price frame with a "cosmetic blemish" that was so rediculously small not even their own cameras could document it. Turns out a year later that the actual frame is misaligned and not fit for purpose. How did this frame get past Q&A at the factory and at Dolan itself? Greed. They put this frame out with the "cosmetic" defect fully knowing that it was not cosmetically defective but structurally defective. I only discovered this a year later when i tried to build it up, finally, after getting parts. I paid decent money for a junk frame that i cannot even sell as i dont want anybody riding this piece of shit of a frame. So now i am out of pocket. A lot of money of out pocket If you buy anything of theirs, be it new or if it has a "cosmetic defect", inspect it immediately. I emailed them when i discovered this. Of course it was ignored and no response given. Personally, i would avoid buying anything at all from them now that i know what practices they use. Basically sell the customer shit that is not fit for purpose and hope they dont discover it right away. I would avoid any of their sales purported to be "cosmetically defective" as that most likely means the frame was sold, came back and they are trying to shift it that way. I am actually thinking of sending this to Hambini so he can explain to me why my bottom bracket does not want to last. Thsi will be a huge negative publicity for them. How did this frame get past the internal Q&A at the manufacturing level as well at Dolan's themselves? You tell me.

Hi my frameset arrived last month but I’ve put it away to build next year. Just got a question about the Matt black finish. Mine felt a bit rough to the touch. I’m used to frames with a smooth over lacquer coat. Is this just normal because it’s Matt? I guess you need to be careful wiping it down as using a Polish would start to shine it up? I noticed it was extremely light in size small.

hi, m8 just wondering what size frame you have and how tall you are - I am 5'10 but with slightly longer legs for my height (often have to use long length jeans) 5'10 pus me right at the end of he medium. I guess I want to make sure the sizing is correct, being an old school cyclist I would always go for smaller frames with more stem and Seatpost, saying that I am no spring chicken anymore so maybe a more sensible/ modern /comfortable way of thinking about frame size would be good
