I felt the same way when my Rex passed away. To this day, the wound has not healed.

The bridge of Khazad Dum has always been one of my favourite scenes, mostly due to the amazing music, the choir and the emotion when Gandalf fell. But Frodo's screams and seeing the Hobbits crying was the most gut-wrenching thing for me. Followed by the: "give them a moment, for pity's sake," Yes, Boromir fell for the ring, but he also loved the little ones. He tried to save them on many occasions, here on the bridge but also in the end. He died doing the right thing. He deserves more love.

Perhaps my ears simply aren’t good enough, but I can’t tell ANY difference between Kaitlyn’s solo at the fall of Gandalf and Aivele Cole’s original in the film. Just WOW!!!

The entire score for all three films is stunning. Howard rightly won two Oscars, he should imo have had all three.

This is awesome, for sure! But nothing can compare to the original recording, which featured an all-Maori choir with SUPER deep voices!

The whole soundtrack of LOTR is perfection... I've watched the movies countless of time but its every music still gives me goosebumps!! I hope someday I will be able to hear this live 😭🙏

It’s amazing how music can add sooooo much to a movie. LOTR and The hobbit wouldn’t be what it is without the amazing music 😩

The “I wish the ring had never come to me” scene at 7:41 is just beyond magical. U hear Frodos fears, being reassured by Ganfulf’s words with the triumph music is just everything.

If you listen really closely, that's the sound of everyone's hearts breaking over loosing a character who's not only a great wizard, but felt like family to all of us. Gandalf's sacrifice was effective to this day.

One of the absolute best scores of a film trilogy ever. Howard Shore hot a John Williams Grand slam with these films. The music just brings me to Middle Earth.
