The reason why Asura is angry is due to experiencing injustice. After the 7 deities betrayed him after killing his wife and imprisoning Mithra. Looking back at the story, Asura suffers a lot of injustices that he experienced. He is the victim who experienced these injustices, every time he sees his daughter or other humans like her suffer. He gets angrier fueling his wrath and reason for fighting. His final fight with god symbolize Asura's journey. The final boss of the game is the "God" of the universe. His name is Chakravartin, which means ideal universe ruler in Hinduism & Buddhism. He is the cause for all the suffering in the world. Creating the whole universe and focusing on the negative is to deny the postive aspects. Being in this time and place, being finite and imperfect, gives us the opportunity to live in a seemingly individualized Life. The Postive and Negative are just like 2 Terminals of a Battery that perpetuates the Current on Energy throughout the Universe. Without One, the other ceases to be. All it will all go back into Chaos and Dissolution. The otherworldly power that was holding Asura together, his body literally ripped apart with its own power, simply fades away. The touching part is, he knew this. Moments before he delivers the killing blow, his daughter Mithra begs him not to kill Charkvartin. She tells him that he’ll die. But is willing to make that sacrifice because he loves his daughter and doesn't want to see her suffer anymore.

There's only one America bud, to the north is Canada, to the south is Mexico.

20:27-Well the Vizier’s generals do have names. Klompa was the first boss the Prince fought in the Arena. Mahasti was the second boss the Prince fought. As for the twins, they don’t have real names but they’re referred as the Sword and Axe Twins. And those generals do have an interesting backstory. They were leaders of a bunch of tribes known as the Scythians. Mahasti is the leader of the House of the Cat, the Axe Twin is the leader of the House of the Scarab, the Sword Twin is the leader of the House of the Spider and Klompa is the leader of an unknown house, maybe the House of the Ape or House of the Boar. The Scythians started to lose a lot of land when both the Persian and Indian empires started expanding and a lot of them began to leave the tribes and joined other empires. The number of Scythians began to decrease as they became more and more divided. The Vizier was able to unite the Scythian tribes and used their hatred for the Indian Empire did to them to conquer it.

6:57-Well the army that was working for the Vizier wasn’t Indian, but a group called the Scythians, which were the guys in animal helmets that invaded Babylon. The Scythians are split into different tribes based on the animals that represent those tribes. The swordsmen hail from the House of the Ram, the other swordsmen with the greenish armor hail from the House of the Hyena, the Archers hail from the House of the Heron, the Sand Gate Guards hail from the House of the Serpent, the Chameleons hail from the House of the Chameleon and the Thralls hail from House of the Hedgehog. The generals that serve the Vizier are leaders of one of the Scythian Tribes. Mahasti is the leader of the House of the Cat, the Axe Twin is the leader of the House of the Scarab, the Sword Twin is the Leader of the House of the Spider and Klompa is the leader of an unknown House, I think he’s the leader of the House of the Ape or Boar. The Scythians also breed hounds for hunting which explains the sand hounds. The reason why the Scythians invaded both Persia and India is because both of these empires stole their sacred hunting grounds and tribal lands due to their expansions. Many Scythians decided to leave their tribes and join other empires, causing their numbers to drop severely. The Vizier came to the last remaining Scythian tribes and united them under one banner, the Dark Empire. Using the Scythians’ hatred for what the Indian Empire did to them, the Vizier was able conquer the empire within a week. After that, the Vizier lead his new empire to invade Persia, kicking off the events of Two Thrones.

The fight between August and Asura reminds me of a piece of Dark Souls Lore, the battle between former friends Velstadt and Raime. Raime didn't trust the queen ut Velstadt was forever loyal to the king, and whatever the kind said was rule. They fought over this and Velstadt won, Raime would turn out to be correct however as the queen was a piece of the father of the abyss, who would corrupt the king, the kingdom and bring it all to ruin. Raime never saw it because he left after his defeat, coming to the conclusion that it doesn't matter if you're correct if you can't overcome the obstacles in your way.

Funny how her name is Shahdee and in my native language the word Shahdee means underwear.

One of the first games I ever played, I was 9 yrs old maybe, I was scratching my head for almost 2 years to make sense of the plot but it was a gem nonetheless. Up there with HALO combat evolved, Half life 2, call of duty black ops 1 etc etc in the Memory’s hall of fame….

Til this day I have this game. Idc what reviewers say, this game was iconic and definitely a unique beat ‘em up for its time. I’ve always wish for a sequel.

Ahh yes, the Human path. Or what I like to call "The Humans completely justified Genocide". But seriously all the racism and conflict could have been largely avoided if the gods were just cool with inter-racial relationships. Algendars Disease come's about as a curse due to an elven king dicking a human woman and the gods saying that shit was unacceptable as it gave birth to the dark elf race. So they curse the Elves with true death and they curse the Humans with an unstoppable blind blood rage, somehow killing Dragons also spreads the disease??? But the thing that makes the Humans retaliation justified is that the Golden Dragon will just kill ALL of humanity. All of it. Where as the elves still live just with the chance of dying permanently just like humans if they happen to get infected. Hell the disease doesn't even spread just from killing Dragons or dicking the other race, it spreads from HELPING the other race. When Ridley is injured she is saved via Elven healing, this was enough to spread the disease. Acts of kindness between races cause this shit, so yeah screw the gods of this world, down with their systemic racism. The Dragons gods are so blinded by maintaining the natural order they never question if they should. Only the silver Dragon did and even he was glad to die if it meant Humanity could be free from the shackles of divine rule. Only thing that sucks about the Human path is it feels really unnatural for Jack who has to play it off even dumber than usual.
