I believe I tell you to add salt and pepper to your preference. If it's salty enough for you, then don't add any.

FYI, that is a cooling rack, and not designed for cooking on. Cooking racks will usually be either be chrome or polished Stainless, or a hi-tech non stick teflon-like coating. Stop feeding cheap, lead laden Chinese powder coating from Walmart, to yourself and your loved ones.
@cookingbrideАй бұрын
It's not a cooling rack. It's a Teflon cooking rack. It has just been well used.
@draughtismycraftАй бұрын
@cookingbride OH thank God. Walmart sells a cooling rack that looks exactly like that. Sorry I was a little punchy. Had an emotional few days. Even then, if the Teflon starts coming off, that means you're eating it. I recommend a high polish 304 or 316 Stainless, or well-seasoned cast iron. I even avoid aluminum these days with all the evidence linking it to dementia. And we are moving away from plastic tools like spatulas. We use wood or silicone from a country we trust. Scary stuff.

@@cookingbride there's gonna be something magical coming out of that pot filled with canned beans, frozen vegetables and minced pork or what, cooking bride? If you don't tell me there WILL be magic involved, i'm not gonna do it, i already know exactly the texture, nutrients, taste and who to feed that to.

I ended up with a pool of butter sitting on the top, in the middle of the cobbler. I used an 8x8 dish and my batter didn’t cover the berries after baking.
@cookingbrideАй бұрын
Could your baking powder have expired? That could cause the batter not to rise to the top.

this is old fashioned? hmm
@cookingbrideАй бұрын
What do you consider old fashioned?
@macgw86Ай бұрын
@@cookingbride I'll start by saying nice recipe, looks delicious. TLDR: I would consider my grandmother's very simple potato, butter, water, salt, and pepper. "Old fashioned" I was looking around how to make it because she fell asleep after asking me to make it... >.> Then she got disappointed at me for draining the water off the potatoes (happy I drained them over a bowl). Lucky, she woke up to fix my mistake of following online recipes. 🤣 I had no clue the potatoes provide their own starch when cooked long enough, so no flour needed. I assume she learned to make it from her mother. Nice cheap easy meal.

Turn to Jesus people, he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, if you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live by his teachings.
