Got Gp2 on my L6 gsxr600 after having Metzeler 7rr which were crap at best. Gp2 are amazing. Sticky and easy turn in and smooooth. Brilliant tyres.
@ErrolDynamics4 күн бұрын
Ive only had on a set of metz m9rr for a very brief period. Wont say they are crap coz they indeed do what they were intended to but the michelins just takes it all in 1 package and gives you more in every aspect.
@Rabbydabbydoo4 күн бұрын
Yeah was probably the fact that they’re not a sports tyre and 4.5yr old too. Would just not turn in without a lot of pressure on inside bar. These gp2 are great. I’ve heard the supercorsa are even better but they won’t last long

Thanks for the review. That will be my next set. Currently I have Road 6. Very good tyre and mileage. I hope the Power 6 will also give good mileage.
@ErrolDynamics13 күн бұрын
You are very welcome! The Road 6 will definitely have better mileage if compared to the Power 6. I came off a Power 5 and got a solid 6000 miles on it with spirited riding and 1 trackday. The Power 6 is a huge step up from the Power 5 so I am expecting similar from it. The biggest difference might be how long it gives that same feel further in to the tire wear. But it’s a great choice nonetheless. It impressed me so much that I popped on the same Power 6 for my 250cc. It also comes in the 110/140 size! Amazing tire.

rosso 4 or power 6 on z800 mana better
@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
Ini kene tengok pada kemahuan dan keutamaan bro. Rosso 4 dengan Power 6 sangat berbeza dari segi tunggangan. Rosso 4 dia tajam. Dia nak dive masuk corner dan hold kat situ. Kalau main trek ada rider style camtu. Power 6 dia rasa sangat konsisten. Senang nak ride sbb profil dia rasa lebih bulat. Tak letih macam nak bergusti. Profil rosso sangat agresif. Saya pernah sarung rosso 4 tapi motor terjadi sangat teruja nak dive masuk. Saya tak biasa. Sbb kita geng santuyyyyy.

@ baik. so what is your experience abt performance? longevity? wet condition? both tires

Apparently the hard carcass + hard tyre makes the power 6 hard to predict when exploring edge of grip, and uncomfortable especially on non-adjustable suspension? Would appreciate your thoughts.
@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
Hi William. The Power 6 is not a hard carcass + hard compound. If by hard carcass you mean the Aramid Weave, yes the stability is there from the firmer belt callout but there is also the Radial X Evo Ply Fold on the walls that add flexibility into the recipe. I’m only on the streets with the Power 6 - and yes it does behave like a softer ‘tire’. In terms of compound, it is definitely not hard compound as well. Uncomfortable on non adjustable suspensions is very subjective. It also depends on the rider and the hardware you are working with. I wouldnt fault the tires as much as i would fault other parameters like condition of bike, condition of roads, tire pressures, temperatures etc. its a great tire and defo my favourite. Do connect with me separately on IG @ erroldynamics if you’d like to chat more.

Hello from Thailand! Thank you for the great review. What are your thoughts on comparing it with the S23? I mainly ride on the road, but I also do the occasional track day. The weather in my country is quite similar to yours. I've visited your country before, and everyone rides incredibly well, even Grab Bike and Food Panda riders.
@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
Sawadeekap kun! Thank you for watching my video. I have ridden the bridgestone s20, s20evo, s21 and s22. Not on the s23. So i cannot compare against s23. But if the tire is similar to its predecessors, the only point i will note is the wear pattern. I notice the bridgestones tend to square up quite quickly. The bridgestones are more closer to the dunlop race tires in terms of behaviour. In my own personal opinion, the power 6 is a step above the rest - not including the very aggressive pirelli rosso 4. If you are familiar with s23 for daily riding, i think you will be VERY happy with the Power 6. Ive ridden for 5000kms, around the twisties and city riding, including heavy rain, the tire held extremely well and is way beyond my capability as a rider. This tire blew my mind. It is intuitive - it does what i am thinking. I realised i didnt have to try very hard to turn, the bike was already doing what i wanted before i actively initiated a direction change. So easy to ride, reducing rider fatigue and allows the rider to just do what they like best - focus and enjoy the ride. Hope this helps brother. Ride safe and safe ride always!

@@ErrolDynamics I recently switched to the S23, having previously used the Rosso 4. I've typically stuck with Pirelli, but I want to explore other brands. I feel that Pirelli's marketing in Thailand is so intense that it overshadows the benefits of other tire brands. Next time, I'll try the Power 6. Thanks for the recommendation Bro!
@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
@ i think marketing is critical. The rosso 4 really likes to be in the turns. If you are mostly upright, the ride tends to be a bit fidgety and overenthusiastic. It REALLY wants to dive in. This is suitable to the aggressive riders. When you do switch, let me know your thoughts. Im keen to know if we will share the same experience 😬

@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
Hi bro. The 250 has a piece of my heart. I learnt so much with my 250. Still have it today. The 250 with the amount of power it has, you don’t really need a hypersport on it. I have the Michelin Pilot Street 2 on it. Fantastic daily commute also. As the modern tires bridge the tech so closely, the definitions will be diluted also. The general rule is - as long as owner happy. 😂

Good review bro, currently running road 6 front power 5 rear (sudah botak). Thinking whether to get the power 6 or road 6 rear, I do use my bike for daily and also weekend rides. Btw I'm from Shah Alam also, can join rides?
@ErrolDynamicsАй бұрын
Hi bro! Nice to be acquainted with you and thank you for viewing my video! I've ridden the Power 5 but not the Road 6 so I cannot comment. From my limited knowledge, Touring tires and Sports tires are different ballgame. Touring tires are optimised for high speed stability, water repulsion and better rubber endurance for better mileage. Sports tires are optimised for optimal grip. I think the choice by and large depends on your own preference. There is no right or wrong. It would make sense for me to pop on a pair of Road 6 if I want to go to Thailand. but then again, at my riding ability, the Power 6 would more than suffice. It is a big jump from the Power 5 in terms of feel, that I am very sure. Please roger me on IG - erroldynamics. I PM you my number then we kasi on ride plans there. - Ride Safe, Safe Ride Always bro.

Power 6 for daily. Source: friend is using Power 6 on MT09 and it did well even on Bukit Tinggi.
@ErrolDynamics3 ай бұрын
Hi Azim! Thank you for your question. I appreciate it. It really depends on 1 - what you are comfortable with and 2 - what are you looking for. And of course 3 - availability of it. The supercorsas are great tires. Even fantastic if you are looking for that aggressive cornering. The profile is much sharper, the philosophy is to get maximum contact patch while leaned over. The michelins are just more rounded overall. Giving it a very forgiving / consistent feel. I wouldnt say boring coz its not but it is predictable, and comfortable. Which is the ride i want. I am not sure the Supercorsa SP is available in Malaysia, but if you are anywhere else with it, it is a street version of the highly acclaimed supercorsa SC tires. Fantastic aggressive tire. Hope this helps!

Always wanted to try michelin. But always end up with Bridgestone , was using the S22 , then now S23 , for me its way better then S22. Have u tried Bridgestone S22 or any. How does it compare to Michelin Power 6 ?
@ErrolDynamics7 ай бұрын
Hi bro. My journey started with Bridgestones too bro. S20, S20 Evo, S21, S22. Then I went over to Power 5 - Power GP - Power Cup 2 briefly for track. Then Rosso 4, Then now back to Power 6. In my opinion, The Power 6 is all I need bro. City Riding, Daily Commute, spirited weekend riding, Power 6 is the way to go. The feel is slightly quicker turn in compared to 5 and they are claiming improved compound and thread patterns for better longevity. I’ve only ridden about 3-4 weekend rides now, and each ride seems to get better and better. In terms of feel, it feels as planted as the previous one, but somehow a tad bit more compliant. It’s a more comfortable tire and handles wet and damp patches easily. Ulu yam white lines, no wiggling. Not suggesting u to try it that way - BUT it is fantastic. You will love it.

Is this suitable for daily use?
@ErrolDynamics8 ай бұрын
Hi 2wheelrakyat! I wouldnt say it is suitable or not for daily. As that depends on what you want. It is a superior dry grip tire and the compound is tactfully softer. So it will wear out faster than the 100% street version. This GP2 is on my friend’s bike and he only rides in weekends when it is not raining so it suits hjs purpose. For daily, there is a 100% street version called the Power 6 which is what i installed on my own bike just because i dont plan to track anytime soon. Hope this helps. Let me know what tire you decide to put on next!

@@ErrolDynamics how much did Power 6 cost you? (Assuming you’re going with size 190.) I daily with Z800 and am currently using Bridgestone’s T32. Just looking around at what’s my next available option. Thanks for your input!
@ErrolDynamics8 ай бұрын
@@2WheeledRakyat Power 6 120/190 was RM1440 at Premium Sportcycles Sunway bro. Look for Hoi. Boss can fix u up. If you’re the T32s now, i highly recommend the Power 6. The character is slightly different from the first gen Power 5 / Power GP. Much quicker turn in and what i think is better stability. I would get the Power 6 in a heartbeat. The Z800 is a monster in it own right and you would need a tire that is compliant yet not too hard, grippy yet wont wear out too fast, and with it being a 240kg wet bike, u want the middle strip to be lasting. Thats where the Power 6 will add value. I rode a Z800 from 2013 to 2020 bro. Loved that bike but yes it is a heavy bike with no electronics. So a good tire would seal the deal and enhance your riding experience.

In terms of feel/feedback and grip?. I’m contemplating between GP2 and Power 6. So I’m curious on how it compares to the good old Power GP. As I don’t intent to track anytime soon. Pretty much all road. Or at least 95% road. Much appreciated bro!

compare to rosso corsa 2? or super corsa v4
@ErrolDynamics8 ай бұрын
Hey man ive not been on the rosso corsa 2 and the scv4. Ive only been on the Rosso 4 briefly. The biggest difference would be the turn in feeling. The Pirellis are known for its quick dive in and it maximizes the contact patch while in the turn because of its sharp profile. The Michelins are a little rounder providing consistent contact patch across all lean angles. So it is very predictable and intuitive as opposed to the Pirellis being very aggressive. That being said, i can confirm now that the 2nd gen Michelins especially the Power 6 and the GP2 has that quicker turn in. I felt some moments of oops that was a bit too much turn during some sweeping bends. Great tires. Warm up quick, holds temp consistently without much fluctuation and feels great all around. If you’re looking for some track time, the GP2s are great. Ive not tracked it yet but with the claims of performance, i’m sure it would be a blast.
