Thanks so much for watching! 🥰 ohhh hmm I’d recommend Bungo Stray Dogs, which has quite a lot of content out already (5 seasons of the anime and 20+ vols of the manga with several spin off vols and ofc the light novel source material) and it’s still ongoing. I really enjoy the complexity of all the characters and the action. Another one that’s still fairly new is Gokurakugai. Love the art and the supernatural aspect + the story concept 😊 let me know if you’ve checked out either of them!

Violet Evergarden is such a beautiful anime It's honestly insane. I remember when I first saw it, I was shocked and intently fell in love and into a rabbit hole. It will forever be in my top 3 beautiful anime's that I've seen. Visual wise and story wise. Also her and Gilbert's relationship is so charming because Gilbert wanted to be there for her, but also wanted to protect her by staying away but all Violet wanted was him, and learned to accept the fact that she might never get that. I do wish for more knowing we probably won't get it, BUT I want more like it.

Agreed! It’s such a thoughtful series and you can immediately tell just by the attention to detail within every animation frame. I’m so glad it’s in your top favorite! 🥰 well-deserved. And I agree that Violet and Gilbert’s relationship was quite complex and complicated. She had to cope with the reality of his disappearance from her life…the person who helped give her a sense of purpose. How did you like the movies that released after the main anime series?

@@cadence_la (SORRY I JUST KEPT GOING🤧) The movies after the main series, were amazing too. Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll, I can't quite say I remember that one all too well. I'd have to watch it again. BUT I did like the fact that from what I remember, Isabella was kinda going through the same thing as Violet and they could relate to that. And in a way, they learned from each other. Then there's the last movie. WHICH BROKE ME DOWN TO PIECES MY I ADD. That one was honestly more breathtaking than the rest, for me at least. Violet realizing there might be a chance to reunite with Gilbert. Them being torn by their decisions, and finally meeting at the end. GAH it was so beautiful. She finally got to feel and understand her "I love you" more genuinely.

Ohhh I didn’t get 50% off the figures but I believe what you’re referring to is the cost of some of the figures now. When I preordered them, the cost was higher. But the in stock price has gone significantly lower to basically half off 🥲 so if you’re in the market for some of these figures, now’s the best time tbh!

I love Living-room Matsunaga-san too. 🩷🩷 I picked up the first volume out of curiosity in my comics shop (I knew nothing about the series, but the premise sounded interesting and the art was beautiful)….best idea ever. The series is amazing and I re-read it often. 🩷

I’ve read all of Hanakoi Tsurane….and OMG, I loved it. 🩷🩷 The art is absolutely gorgeous (it reminded be quite a bit of Kazuma Kodaka’s Kizuna) and the story is fairly unique. I’m hoping and praying an english publisher will pick it up, because it deserves global recognition. 🩷 Nina the Starry Bride has been on my mangas-to-get since I learned about the official english edition….I love the series: the art is gorgeous, the story is beautifully full of equal parts of darkness and light….I honestly cannot recommend it enough. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

this is honestly one of the best times to start a manga collection bc publishers are starting to do more special variant covers with extra bonuses, mini boxsets, and slowly reprinting series that were long out of stock 🥰 i hope you're able to receive the tbhk first stall as well! maybe even the 2nd stall too...🤭💕

That collection is awesome. I’ve been collecting mangas for six years, and even much, much longer because I started getting them for the first time in 2011 when a friend gave me a Naruto manga. I like to have all my Shonen Jump mangas together and I personally prefer getting omnibus versions of manga so a lot of the ones I listed are in 3 in 1 omnibus editions. I wish a lot more had omnibuses, but I’m still super happy with my collection and can’t wait to get more. I also have a lot of these as anime DVDs and Blu-Rays and many other like all the Studio Ghibli movies, Code Geass and so much more. I also have a ton of different anime character collectibles from series like Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia and many others.

ohhh a mostly shonen collection! and a lot of classics that were popularized in the 90's and 2000's 🥰 most of those i just consumed in anime format rather than manga but it's always nice to have the source material (esp without filler episodes haha). i'd love to read some of the animes i've watched back in the day in manga form for sure like fma and bleach. i haven't gotten into gintama but eventually i think i will! but glad to see you're satisfied with your collection and where it's heading! that's the best type of collection where you can actively enjoy every single thing about it :)

New type magazine is a throw back holy. Also please read Yotsuba :) Its so cute and wholesome. One of my favorite series to just pick up and read a couple of chapters to destress with. Hold up, what are the Apothecary Diaries things at 23:51??? Also your dedication to Alhaitham Kaveh is both scary and inspiring LOL. I really love the albums for the art too. A lot of mine are just in a box and its a pain to view them. Maybe I'll start doing that too

i remember being so excited for a newtype magazine release. always read every page, watched the bonus cd's they'd include, and pulled almost every poster out to put on my walls 😆i can't remember if they sold them at hot topic? or maybe some other hobby retailer back in the day. i've only read the first vol of yotsuba so far (or maybe 2) but it's so wholesome and fun. yotsuba: how to be a kid again 🥺 those AD things are bonus art papers that usually come with japanese vols. i didn't buy any AD japanese vols but there were listings on mercari japan with batches of them for cheap XD sometimes i put them in acrylic block frames! and yahh def nice to have everything organized into albums so you can flip through them every now and then. pretty sure you can get some on amazon!

I want to have that too in my future bedroom😔 haha and also i always like it every time i see someone who have a magazine like this 5:48 idk its just reallyyyy pretty i want to collect it too ㅠㅠ, especially the "In the Clear Moonlit Dust" the main character is soo-😩, they make me curious too whats inside it since it looks so thick👀 All the collections you have are nice✨ and they are neatly arranged, very comfortable to look at. aww thanks so much for thinking so omg 😭😭always nice to hear from other violet evergarden appreciators! 💌 i hope you're able to find and snag some violet merch for yourself too! they can be a bit tough to come by but i know there are artists out there that have done some beautiful violet artwork and merch as well 💕 and ahh the japanese magazines are such a novelty item for sure and def cool to have. they're quite thick bc they have a bunch of manga chapters from a variety of series that the publisher releases every month/biweekly/etc :) eventually, those manga chapters are compiled into the manga vols we normally buy!

i def encourage it! 🥺 i've heard all kinds of reviews and thoughts about it--from people who love it to people who just think it's boring or too slow paced. but focusing more on violet's development as a character and really taking a look at her mental and emotional struggles while she interacts with the people around her is what made me love her story a lot. hope you end of getting something out of the series if you do go back to it! 😊

Where would you recommend going if you are interested in following artists specifically for zines and fanbooks. I have been using Twitter, but I would like to delete my account on there, because it's not an enjoyable platform to be on anymore. I haven't yet, bc it's pretty much how I interact with the genshin art scene.

ahh i know what you mean. twitter was always the toughest social media for me to manage but that's a really tough question bc i think majority of zine accounts/mods still utilize twitter for announcements of new projects. but i know a lot of artists themselves have gotten Bluesky accounts. i'm not sure whether they are active or posting on there bc i haven't logged into my account since i created it. some zines do have an instagram account in addition to twitter but not always. i've seen some overseas artists as well using instagram too. since i'm mostly active on insta, that's where i am for the genshin art scene when i'm not browsing on twitter. wish these platforms didn't make it hard for everyone to use and support 😭

But the space and level to which you have organized is my literal GOAL. You have a wonderful collection and hobby space. By the way, do you have Meguru Hinohara's artbook, "Darling"? :) Also so many great doujinshis! I'm also tempted to pick some of the ones you have, like Miniature Garden Dressing. Also saw Buckhingham's HSR works! If you like their work, I recommend the all-ages 不動玄石の夢. Keep up with the great videos! :)

thank you thank you! 🥰 i went back and forth on which chair to get when i was shopping for one and glad i got the one that i did! it's always nice to have a comfy place to read. and yess omg witch hat! amazing series! and i'm so happy seven seas released the orange boxset like how it was released in japan 🥺 i do have Meguru Hinohara's artbook. my art book collection hasn't change too much since the last time i did a video years ago haha but i should do an updated one 👀 ohh i def like 8k's works who did the Miniature Garden Dressing doujin, particularly their all ages ones ☺ their recent one for Kaveh's birthday was sweet. i also really love Buckhingham's works a lot! i've gotten almost all of their works 😆 ahh is that the Tartaglia x Zhongli one? I haven't read it yet! i'm slacking on reading other couple doujins haha

Holy... I knew you liked organizing but your room is the definition of organization. It's absolutely beautiful!!! And I say that as someone who doesn't like decorating their shelves at all (I am too laz.... busy to dust off deco, that's why my shelves all have glass doors). I especially loved your super well organized stationary and the whole closet! You inspire me to finally get a drawer system for my desk so that I can sort my pens, paper etc. better!

thanks so much! 🥺organizing is my favorite pasttime lol 😆it's so therapeutic. and i can totally understand not wanting to decorate your shelves. that's the ultimate efficiency tbh. easy access to your books/collection and less cleaning! i def support the desk tray system. it's nice when a bunch of items aren't floating around and you know exactly where to reach for stuff :) even one of those small side tables can work wonders! (which i kinda want to get myself 👀)
