Hearing safety is no joke guy, longevity is important

I am 100% in favor of stopping the visible passing of the collection plate during service or mass. The only one who needs to see who gives what is God Himself. There is online giving, direct deposit, even snail-mailing a check. Or just have a drop box somewhere in the church. Plenty of ways to give without the pressure of everyone looking at you. My church stopped "offertory" time after Covid and never brought it back. Tithing has been around the same rate.

i thoud alwasy highliy about propresenter but now thay have a subscription.. thats simply a money printing scam for there loyal custumers... i will stay with open lp it works perfect you can do what ever you need.. and you can pay when you can or want and your product dose not shut down if you stop pay for it... and all the songtext are locked up..

Have you applied for the Google Ad Grant yet?

So we are a small mission agency. We are approved and I started working on ads (have them on pause while figuring it out). But being a mission agency targeting nothing but religious orientations, one of the first ads got an "ineligible" label applied. Do you just "appeal" if you are by nature doing religious advertising? Or is there some other solution? Is this going to go they way of FB, and it's wasting my time? Appreciate any thoughts along these lines.

is it 1 landing page per ad group? are the ads in each ad group for the same thing but worded differently?

When I had a question when I was asking a pastor about something I didn't understand he freaked out on me he yelled at me put me on the spot in front of others not one person stuck up for me not one person said anything it left me crying and then one of the Christians try to comfort me and say hey I understand which was a very comforting thing because this Christian said he was in the wrong for yelling at you cuz I asked for a question this was my experience and so I didn't go there anymore inconsistency and ego yeah that's a big one and also fear of course and of course I guess that was spiritual abuse as well

I know it was pretty much passed over on the software list last year, but if all you need is a basic setup, the free version of Presenter from WorshipTools is pretty good. It is limited in certain features, but offers CCLI/Songselect integration, as well as some bible versions for free. They do offer a selection of other bibles for, I believe, $4 a year, as well as the ability to import bibles in XML format. It's available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. WorshipTools also offers an alternative service to Planning Center, which includes a free option.

Gentlemen, you seem to be very knowledgeable and sincere Christians concerned with spreading the Gospel. However, it seems (to me) that you, like so many others, are treating the church like a business. The church WAS NEVER CREATED to be a business. Read the New Testament. The only thing you need to do is preach the uncompromising Gospel as the inspired Word of God that NEVER CHANGES and the Holy Spirit will do all the strategy necessary. If the ENTIRE church body would live the Gospel in their area of influence on a daily basis, people would see a difference and people would be drawn by the Holy Spirit. You don't need strategies to "target certain age groups". The only concerns you should have are what should we teach in SS? Do we have enough volunteers for the nursery? to handle the parking lot and traffic? etc.

I agree with every point except your first point. Matrix mixing is an art that even major broadcasting networks are utilizing. The late Andrew Stone of Church On The Move was a master at the art of matrix mixing for Livestream. Beside that one point I agree with everything else.

At 4:40 you say OpenLP does not support Songselect, the latest version of OpenLP (3.0) has very good Songselect integration. You can go to File > Import > Songselect, log in and download the lyrics directly into OpenLP, including CCLI numbers and licensing information. The previous version (2.x) has broken SongSelect, but they fixed it.

Can you share a link(s) to these stats? People choosing a church where the pastor is 5yrs or so from their age would be an eye opener for my church congregation.

Should data be a major factor when planning ministry strategies?

Currently looking for new software. With propresenter going to subscription service has turned me sour towards them. I get it for all the ad ons like media etc but now having to pay a subscription for updates to the current version we already paid a substantial fee for is a no from me. This video helps me choose where to go next.
