Watch the Dark Knight Returns Animated movie voiced by Peter Weller (RoboCop) with a good sound system. If you never read the book it’s a decent version of the Novel.

That garage kit looks awesome and has plenty of display options. My biggest issue is the chest width. Even though TDKR Batman is bulkier, he still keeps that iconic V-shape. But on this one, the chest is just as wide as the waist.

The hands are like that because they were fighting in mud. So part of his arms are submerged.

The color combo is spot on. I also agree with you on the base. The spot light should just be on the character.

Looks great, but wish you’d have just added a left foot to her. This makes it look like she’s supposed to be kitty pride or something. Or she’s stuck in some rocks.
@VinceVellCUSTOMSАй бұрын
while I would have liked to the way the statue is engineered is there is a thick rod up her leg that comes out as a peg, to add a foot it would cover the end of the rod and can't add more support and bring it lower. Ive done a few of these phoenixes and so far I have no come up with a way to extend a foot and support the whole statue.

Frazetta? His granddaughter has KZbin channel every Friday and discuss his works and memories of her grandfather. It’s pretty good show. At 70;; I have been fan of Frazetta since I was @12 years old. I started lifting to get the look. Was fairly good state level bodybuilder. That started my rise to be world champion Highland Games athlete.i still lift at 70 to keep physique. Now I build and paint statues. Always women statues.😅 Great stream.

It's definitely not been all books at all but sometimes it does happen where they'll use a bad stack of case materials and the book will get damaged. It happened on my one and only order with CBCS also where one book was encapsulated wrong and another one had a label that was crooked as hell. I've submitted over 10,000 books in the last five years though and they've probably damaged three of them and paid for the book, every time. I'm not sure how PGX does anything though because I would never use them. I won't use CBCS again either since CGC does verified signatures now.

I have a thin hollow statue with golf ball sized hole I'd like to repair with spray foam. Do I risk the foam expanding and breaking the statue by the area I'm trying to repair?
@VinceVellCUSTOMSАй бұрын
it all depends on how thin it is, I honestly don't like to use this spray foam after all these years after this item. Cause the pressure can be to much and or it doesn't really fill correctly since the item is not well ventilated. when ever I try and repair hollow now is I like to get fiberglass wrap off amazon same stuff you use for broken bones and fill in the area, let cure and then fix the problem that way. Ive used this on a few repairs.

I was wondering if you have any experience fixing LEDs in statues. I have read that the LED lights in some statues are irreparable as the LEDs cannot be accessed without dismantling (and likely breaking) the figure. What is your opinion on this. I am new to collecting and while I like the look of the LEDs on some figures, I am not interested in purchasing the light-up versions if the figure’s lights cannot be repaired/replaced. Thanks so much for your help and nice videos/tutorials.
@VinceVellCUSTOMSАй бұрын
it all depends how the LED was added, Most of the licensed stuff that has LEDs they design it to be casted with the item and or glued in and when they burn out and or the wires tear you SOL. But if you build your own kit or statue and design it in a way where if the LED burns out or you can set in new wires you can always repair. But my experience is most licensed stuff is so glued in I don't even attempt to repair the LEDs.

@@VinceVellCUSTOMS I have been interested in some First Four Figures but have been avoiding the ones with LED lights for this reason. Do you know how common it is for these figures to have issues with the internal electronics (i.e. LED lights failing, internal wiring, or other irreparable issue). Thanks again for your help.
@dan993Ай бұрын
Do collectors commonly have problems with LED lights? I wonder how common it is to have electrical issues or for lights to cease working. Have you had many customers or acquaintances that had issues with LED lights or is it a rare issue?
