This mall opened when we'd moved to Arizona just a couple of years before. It was beautiful then. They had a nice bookstore and a store with beautiful figurines and even bronze statues for sale. I loved that store. Even better was the children's area outside with the Iguana and other lizard statues (one was a slide.) We last were there just months after 9/11. My favorite stores were gone. Now I see they took out the lizard play area. Nothing of interest anymore so this just scrapped my intention to go do a nostalgia tour. The stores remind me of how Metro Mall was looking less than a decade before it died.

So they forgot to pay the rent? My family and I used to go there 1-2 times a year and vividly remember playing the Simpsons & Mortal Kombat arcade games. As a kid who hated tomatoes and onion I loved that I could pick my own toppings back in the day

I believe they did forget to pay the rent i wish they didn't close their doors but i hope they can open it back up again but i doubt it

I mean, even if it’s machine is out of service, I think you might want to title next to it *extremely rare*. Not gonna lie Daniel retail but if you find a working, Redbox is extremely rare nowadays.

I hate seeing all these stores like Big Lots close, while a Woke vile poor excuse for a human being billionaire named Jeff Bezos, who Hates America, and Lies on Trump constantly by calling Trump Hitler, on his Lying WAPO newspaper! I used to work there almost a year from July 2023 til June 9th of 2024, We got the memo 3 weeks before the closure, CEO stopped by and let managers know that it’s heading to closure due to Mall making Changes, currently the only location in Arizona is at Phoenix.

I currently work for Big Lots and we have 4 stores closing in our district in Southern NJ. While it's sad to see the empty store, it was nice to see the older store and it's relocation. The store of the future format brought the furniture department closer to the front in the new store. I have family in Glendale, AZ and the Big Lots there is closing, as well.

What year was originally open in Fomerly know as when it was 14 years later Also so sad they could make to ther 15th anniversary At that location but they closed for good! In June 2024
