Guido, yes, someday I'd like to stay on the creek site in his opening; have not seen Brian & Michelle in years, but liked their pie; the others - never connected; but do agree that negativity has no place on an RV channel video. For what it's worth, I have little interest in the style of video where the contributor stands/sits and talks to the camera. RVing is about travel, seeing sights and having interesting experiences.

I’m with you Chris, Rv’s are fascinating. We have two houses and a fifth wheel, but can’t travel too far because I’m an elected commissioner in my home county. I have one more term then we’re traveling at least 6 months out of the year. Love you channel and your content.

Just like life. You need to live full time like living in a house. If you go out and spend a lot of money up will do it on the road. What is getting to us is staying at a house and doing nothing about see what our lovely country has to offer. We can’t afford a home and a motorhome and going full time is our priority. VA is our insurance so we are covered by them. We have neighbors that walk their dogs and let them crap in our yard so that’s not just a rving problem.

OK, everybody has an opinion and everybody has you know what but I’m not even a full-time and I spend my winters at my place in Florida and I bought two years ago and when I do go full-time, I’m still gonna spend the winter time and I own it what is the difference for what you do, I’ve met you at The Rv. Hope to meet you soon again.

You bought into a membership that did not afford you, or any other member of TT, site specific reservations. If TT incorporated this in the top level memberships, it might encourage members to purchase that level. For the time being, you got exactly what you agreed to and paid for, when you purchased the level of membership you have. Your current membership, most likely affords you certain advantages over some of the lower levels. More or all regions, for one. Longer staying periods, possibly. Longer booking windows, I will assume. You paid for all of these when you purchased your membership and they are all great advantages over the lower level tier memberships and the camping pass. The FCFS policy levels out some of these for the lower level members. I will agree the campground personnel could probably do a better job at fitting site appointments to the rigs coming into their facilities. Site specific reservations will not help the property owners fill their campgrounds and this is what they are most likely after. It will allow Class B and tear drop owners to reserve big rig sites because they want more room from their neighbors. It will result in 30 amp rigs occupying 50 amp sites. Pop-up trailers with no facilities siting on full service sites, all because there currently is no financial cost associated to the variation in the sites. I am very much aware that all of these scenarios are happen now. With better information on the reservation requests and bit more attention to the rigs prior to their arrival, Best Fit Site Assignments could be achieved. Site Specific Reservations will not fill all the available spaces in a campground, they will wipe out the lower lever memberships and discourage anyone from ever purchasing a Camping Pass because none of those people will ever get a decent site through TT. IMO.

Great video ! You are full timers. I am somewhat like you, but we are not full timers. I have a sticks and bricks Condo, it's small 1,000sq'. We travel 6 months of the year as an average. We decided on keeping a home in Ontario Canada for medical reasons. Should one of us get sick when were in the south for the winter what are we going to come back to? Our kids don't have room for us and living in an RV when your sick would most likely not possible. Therefore we consider ourselves as "long timers" This winter I will be home in Canada until May. My wife will be traveling from January to Mid April living at resorts and on Diving ships. My normal winter would have us in Texas or Arizona for 4 months. plus a few months traveling between Canada and the USA. I am 67 and would love to spend more time on the road with our rig but we can only be in the USA for 205 days and have already covered most of Canada a few times. The trailer 42' is kept at a storage facility as we have no place to park it here.

Fun filled video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It’s just like when people say that harvest host are free camping after you pay the yearly fee and buy food or wine 🍷 it comes out to be the price of most of the campgrounds we stay at. Might be interested in we just don’t get the same experience. Thanks From Wisconsin and happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽

I think that others see you going back to your same spot in Maryland to your home base and consider it as your home. When Barb and I get on the road in the spring we will not have a home base, just an address at our son’s home here in Florida as we are keeping our resident status. Our goal though is to eventually buy a home base here in Florida where we can spend the winters and then travel during the summer to get out of the heat. We will consider ourselves full timers also.

We are also Thousand Trails members & stay 21 days at a time, sometimes less. We're currently in the Keys for the Holidays. Hopefully someday our paths will cross. ✌️

We totally agree with you if your sleeping in your RV all year your a full timer! No difference between you using the facility at an RV Resort , campground or where you are at. Your sorta like using a boondockers welcome/harvest host style situation. Your not any different then the snow birds that park somewhere for months somewhere. Does it snow where your parked? 😊 Take care safe travels!

We have been full-time for the past 2 years . We camp/handy host for 8-9 months at a time in one space/campground then for the rest of the time we are at another campground for the winter. Plus I use the bathhouse 80% of the time. We don't move around very much a few short trips on vacation plus I'm still working 🙃

Have heard this debate on a number of videos and podcasts in the last little while and to be honest who really cares full time part time most time own a house don’t own a house have a trailer fifth wheel or motorhome. Does it really make a difference I think not. As long as you’re doing what you enjoy. Just do it. 😂😂😂

Good video for clarification, "full-time" Someone who lives exclusively full-time in a recreational vehicle (RV) for an extended period of time while traveling from place to place. As a full-timer myself and thinking of all the conversations with other travelers, we all have someplace we seem to return to from time to time. That return event does not negate the overall lifestyle of being a full-timer, so yes, you guys are full-timers by definition. Good job.

It amazes me that you guys even have to address this , I say that only because you have a business that is in the public eye, so I understand why you are addressing the subject. My opinion is people are petty, and if you don’t own a sticks and bricks home and you sleep in your RV then you are a full time RVer . I enjoy the content you two put out , it’s informative and entertaining, God Bless you and your family.

I agree - full time RVers are people (and dogs) who live in a RV full time and he, she & pup can park that RV for any length of time, because it is whatever works for them. We have planted it at my brother's and at my family ranch for a few months at a time. And now, we rented a private lot in Southern Arizona for this winter, because 3 years traveling in the South in the winter was brutal. And I totally agree with having a home base - that's what we have been driving around the country looking for.

I consider us part time because we have a house that our Daughter and son in law live in and take care of and we keep a guest room there. When in town our 45 ft motorhome no longer fits the pad we had for the 40 so we stay at a park 10 minutes away. We stop in from Christmas to new year, and a month in summer. The rest of the time we are on the road. Most that want to split hairs have to little to do apparently! The only ones that counts is on your Insurance policy!!
