Instead of using a timer on the flash, have a remote trigger like a pocket wizard you can trigger with a remote so you can just leave the shutter open as long as you want. Otherwise this is a cool concept.

thanks april. your channel is excellent. i especially agree with reworking the twine after making the knots. i had happened upon that on my own when making my first few poppers. great knots. i can hardly wait to make my first popper with extra fray. made about 6 regular poppers about 6 wks ago, and finished my first whip 2 wks ago. been braiding for over 20 years, and plan to learn how to make quality whips. again, thanks for your extensive teaching.
