제가 지금 이것과 비슷한 수준의 화질 문제로 고민이 많습니다. 다른 리뷰영상과는 차이가 너무 심합니다. 설정에 차이가 있는것인지 아니면, 펌웨어 버전 이슈인지도 고민하고 있습니다. 혹시 지금도 비슷한 수준의 영상화질을 보이나요? 저는 non-official 케이스를 쓰고 있는데, 케이스 문제도 아니군요.

Have you had any overheating problems? I got my X4 last week but diving case is basically a box that locks the heat inside, so the camera gets overheated after 5 mins in 8k mode (water temperature is 26 celcius, air around 32 celsius.) Lower resolution seem to help slightly with the overheating issue, but I could have gone with X3 instead, if I can't use 8k right? :)

@@ercan2508 I did not have any over heat issue. But I do not record long clips. 5 min would be about my max.

yes with the case. did you make sure your play back is to 8k? I have 2 complaints compared to the 4k mode, the 8ks cases seems and distortion is more noticeable. In lake Erie the greens are way more exaggerating. the 4k models colors looked perfect to me with no post edits. I still have my 4k not sure if I'll sell it.

@@GreatLakesVista yes, i watched in 8k resolution. Looks like this camera is not to meant foracro shots or any shots in general that is for detail. I am debating myself on purchasing x4 for next months scuba dives.

@@ercan2508 definitely it will need to be up close to the camera. almost nothing in this scene is close. I think the clarity of the water and 360 tricks people into thinking things are closer than they are vs a standard 2d image. I think the Jules 2d edit I uploaded may look a bit better.

I just got this same camera and I'm loving it!!! I still haven't been able to get a video to do the 360⁰ view. I'm getting views like your Jules one. What's the setting for the 360⁰ view?

You should see a 360 option in both the app and PC studio.

make sure you select 360 when exporting, also you can only upload 8k when using the pc software. My Jules video with music was edited and export as 2d using the 360 to pan and zoom..

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Insta360 X4. It's a significant improvement compared to what I used to see with the Oculus Quest before.

Make sure you select 360 video when exporting with in the App or PC studio.

Great footage. Did you update the setting to let camera know the dive case was on? Seams are quite apparent

Yes it was enabled, unfortunately it is not that invisible. I have my x3 I'd like to test it more for comparison I thought it was less noticable, check my other videos. Only had a few dives in the lake vs the ocean. Maybe seems are less noticable with flatter bottoms like the lake bed vs coral. Unfortunately I can find many 360 videos on line under water for the 3x or 4x...

There's definitely some extra blur while underwater (especially near the seams of the dive case) in general underwater is not as clear as the air but also make sure you're not playing it in low res mode in most cases on a mobile phone You have to manually select the high resolutions. No lens protectors. Camera and dive case. Set to underwater mode for export.

Awesome vid! The soft corals actually look healthy, despite the record ocean high temps we just had. Were there more fish than we can see in the video? I know you were shallow, but did you see any relatively large predators? Have the lion fish been culled there?

No much in larger fish, some barracuda. I did not see any join fish. Plentiful of other tropical fish.

Thats some incredible technology there.. its amazing to go around and see everything around you, including seeing the diver himself ! your very brave to be out there in those cold waters during that month.

Thanks, yeah 3d video is crazy. Make sure it is high quality. KZbin like to set it to the lowest quality. Tap the gear in the top right and select the highest resolution.

About to upload another video, a Christmas day dive. Was 63F outside the water was 40F

Thanks, it was a process. A lot of zebra muscles on one side, high pressure hot water. Smelled like an all you can eat seafood special..
