Less the players, stronger the harvester, and this is the fundamental of the accessibility of most solo, you can try yourself in private match

@@gtjeight384 I did countless private solo matches and have more than 3,600 hours of playtime on TF2 with about 85-90% of it FD. Still a nuke that does zero damage to the harvester is wild and it’s not what i experience when doing solos. That’s why i’m asking.

@@DirkLachowski No matter how much you played as you described, I am the one who finished the most glitchless insane solo matches on youtube afaik, and this is what I experienced, so let me see your vid, a private solo in vanilla, not in northstar server, including a nuke striking the harvester

@@gtjeight384 I just gave it a try on a private insane and you are right. I replayed your opening on Rise, let the Legion slip through and the harvester took no damage. Never noticed that before. My appologies.

@@DirkLachowski nvm, letting the nuke go is a useful strategy in solo if you are busy in handling ton of enemies

⁠​⁠@@gtjeight384I did about 2,000 FD matches on this map, including hundreds of master and insane matches. In wave 1, usualy 4 - 8 grunts come from that building, and also 4-8 stalker come from the underpass. That they are completely missing is strange - or there have been many many tries where they did but that got not streamed. Private matches come with their own rules that can be tweaked, including faster cores, so maybe that‘s the reason. Also, at 19:23 you can clearly see that the Monarch is cloaked, the Legion is staying next to it, but is not shooting, so most of the damage to the Monarch in this match is collateral from staying in the line of fire to the harvester. Same with the big group of stakers shortly before at 18:58. They just stop at the titan. That also explains the base strategy of letting them come and then just smoke them. Uilizing that enemy titans don’t shoot you if they can’t see you because of smoke, this would maybe also be doable without cloaking. And why is the Legion at 10:26 just sitting at the harvester and not shooting it (or the Monarch) at all? It’s passing a few seconds earlier when the Monarch is attacking the other Legion - and then just waits at the harvester to be killed. But nice done using satchels through the e-wall and still fun to watch.
