Who are you promoting?” “…it’s quiet uptown.” Like the way that song goes really hammers home that this is a grieving father. His world stopped when his son died, and it hasn’t resumed yet. But the rest of the world isn’t in his little paused bubble, and the election is happening whether he’s ready or not. It feels exactly like when you lose someone really important and then have work or class or both the next day. Like you’ve been shoved back into a world that is not paused even though your entire everything stopped.

I just realized the 1:24 and 1:30 part are the letters "A" and "H" this was my fave animatic for hamilton when i was 14. It's so good.
