The first thing you should do is to learn a fixed opening. Do not do a king pawn, then the English, then the Spanish, and another game. The Sicilian is something very wrong. I see how Timmy did a fixed opening, which is the Spanish opening. Try to focus on his moves and know what are the wrong moves he does, just like me. In the end, you have to do the calculations and do puzzles. Puzzles are very important for you to learn.

@@Kwngn it just takes a lot of study. Endgame techniques are quite difficult especially. I advise you start with all of the checkmates (king and queen vs king, king and rook vs king etc) and then move on to look at pawn structure and stuff. You can use puzzles and KZbin to help you also. For openings, it doesn’t really matter which one you choose, but you should then spend some time looking at the best moves to play (using a KZbin video on the opening or even just the chesscom analysis). Then try to figure out why those moves are best so that you know how to follow up on them. Obviously when I say use chesscom analysis I am not advising you to cheat and do that during the game. What I mean is that you can use it to see where you went wrong after your games

@@Shadow_shess it’s a variation on witty aliens “alien gambit” opening. You can look at his channel if you want to learn more about it. Basically you give up the knight for a super powerful attack. In the game I played I gave up my knight and in return I won back his bishop and put his king in a worse position

It’s called something like King Baldwin IV. I’m not entirely sure from memory. If searching this doesn’t come up with it I can check. I distinctly remember that it is a version of the song “if we real” and it’s only 19 seconds long cos it’s some sort of edit

@@Lumxnous hmm yes I see that. It is strange, I’m not really sure how to help. When I made my first shorts I did everything wrong. I totally didn’t know how to use KZbin and so I did not know how to check if I uploaded them. It was only after a week or so that I actually bothered to check and at that point they were all there, but they were in private mode or something so I had to change it to open for all viewers. Maybe you have done something like that also?

@@user-iq6fu6yx9c the bots are super odd ratings. I think they may have made the elo slightly easier that accurate to encourage people to play more because they feel better about their level? Also when you play against the bots there is no time limit. If I had to guess by the level of the bots, I expect that they were designed to play as if it’s a 3+0 blitz game. Still very good job beating a 2000+ bot!
