what are those paddle shifters? Is that something the redline comes with or is it aftermarket? I have an 06 v6 fwd vue I want to do some light mods on, if I could get paddle shifters that would definitely make the car more fun.
@DaChicagoKid25 күн бұрын
@@saltybutsain6348 It just for show. Non operational. Off a Saturn Aura. Saw it at a junkyard and tried it out. Now you can get it to work. You would have to swap in an Acura TL with an automatic transmission. Then you can tune it. The Vue is untunable.

@@DaChicagoKid does anyone put standalone ecus on these? If these ECUs are uncracked, is a manual swap not possible? I was considering doing some research on that too, I know there are J series cars that came manual, but I'm guessing fitment might be an issue.
@DaChicagoKid25 күн бұрын
@@saltybutsain6348 standalones run from 3k to 8k and you need it to control the trans too. Sure it can be done but no one in the Vue community puts that type of money into there ride. That's why I said to myself. I can have more and spend less. So I bought a 2010 TL 6 speed manual SHAWD. These can be tuned. So a subframe swap. Little cut and wield. Transfer over the ecu and wires. Custom drive shaft. Equals one bad ass one of a kind Vue. An FWD manual would be way easier. If you have the tools and patient. I would go for it.

@@saltybutsain6348 LMAO. There is none. I'm the front runner. My problem is money and tools. Like I say in the video. I just finished the heads. Block has been done. Just took the SC Vue to my buddy's house. For now it will be a 3.7L auto. Just to get it up and running again. Then I will save for the TL swap. If you can find a 2008 TL type S. That would be the one to swap. Don't think you'll never find one for cheap. I thought that with the 2010 but after a year of searching. At least once a week. One did pop up and I jumped all over it. Even though I was not ready for it. Also make sure you have a place to do this with a vast amount of tools and equipment. I have a far amount of tools. My buddy has way more then me and a lift. My other buddy has a full shop. If it wasn't for all that. I would not go forward.
