my company works in 3 shifts(US, AUS, UK) and when an employee starts his/her shift , entry is made using ctrl+; & ctrl+shift+; , and similar thing is done when he/she takes break (2 times 30minutes in one day/shift) & also when completing day(8 hours). so doing 7:30 work in a continuous will make one day. (here us(night) shift person logs in @ 8 pm on a day and leaves @4 am next day. Anything above 7:30 is counted as Overtime and added in salary at overtime rate which is specified. Can you please make video showing how to make such dashbaord or calculation sheet.PLEASE PLEASE

your videos are so very helpfull! and easy to follow, if have time can you give me an insight of how can I create a simple leave planner for employees annually and can overlap from 2024 to 2025 if an employee has decided to take a leave from dec 2024 to jan-2025. just I need to know if the employees leave would cross over the submission dates. thanks in advance

Hi i just finished making this Sheet following your steps. Everything is great except one thing that i noticed. In the formula of Overtime Hours We subtract working hours with ideal working hours. However when we copy and paste the formula for the next date since we did not press F4 for ideal working hours it picks up a different cell which gives us wrong calculation of Overtime Hours.

Ideal Working Hours: G6 Time in is in - H6 Time out is in - I6 Formula for Total Working Hours: =IF(I6="","0",IF(I6>H6,I6-H6,1+I6-$H$6)*24) Formula for Total Working Hours: =IF(J6="0","0",(J6-$G6)) These are the Cell reference numbers and the formulas. I will cross check in case I missed something. Thanks Akash

I use Check-in Time and use same cell reference but It will not show the time automatically First I need to check Yes Than I need to Go on Check in cell and hit enter then I show the time moreover when I again delete Yes from f6 and I select yes again I need to Enter what should I do

@@Office-Monk Sir I use the Other way in which I go at option setting then Under CalculatIon options, check the box for Enable iterative calculation after that I apply same formula I want to confirm that is this way OK like when I close file time i punch will remain the same it will not change

Some times patient stay in different wards ie, patient total admission days 4 days, but he staying in 2 days single room and 2 days staying in sharing room so that time how to calculate ward charges

For an example: Patient A came and was admitted in ward 1, do the entry in ward 1. Patient A got transferred to ward B after 2 days, do the entry in ward B. Make 2 invoices of 2 wards

Sir patient actual bill amount is 8000 so that patient to be payable amount 3000 only because that already paid 5000 advance amount,so advance paid amount tobe deduction from the actual bill

Thank You so much, Filter formula seems to be a much easier solution than macros or helper. I had a query. After copying data upto H column in all the sheets, i have 6 more columns which are there in all the other sheets except the main data sheet. There are formulae for each specific sheet. Is it possible that once new data is auto updated in a person's individual sheet, then automatically the formulae in the 6 columns after H column gets copied to the new data's rows ?

The FILTER function is only available in Microsoft 365 and Excel 2021. The older versions of Excel do not have this function.
