I was also expecting it to be super national in the beginning and had the same reaction as you but then the song got super exiting and rythmic. It's very catchy. The man's part I believe tries to make the song more dramatic by spreading a message(i suggests to take a look at the lyrics). I like it its different and the singers have a lot of presence.

It's about women in unhappy marriages who usually have no support, and people are just encouraging them to keep on smiling and enduring. Because it will pass. But will it? That's why her emotion, while singing, is not one of power, but of anguish. The Balkans are famous for being patriarchal, but the situation she sings about is very open-ended and can apply to all those struggling under someone's yoke, and get no support from others, whom she ironically welcomes to her 'hotel of personal weakness'. The song is an overall masterpiece.

Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. How can a song and the singer evoke the same trembling traveling upwards from the spine accompanied by weeping. Are the angels weeping with me? Is this song divinely inspired? Yeahh, I disagree with the list too. Netherlands is def in my top 10 as well because it has the best background story that I know of, and it sounds really good. But putting really high-quality songs like Italy so low is weird to me.

@@igornorkin1996 Apart the love story with bakuretsu I think or better music thinks that Quality is a recipe for victory on the contrary of what you say. About taste...if you can call this in this way, i don't think that rollcosaster songs are really music...probably is another art not music. So what you call.......taste but it's too impressive call this taste...it's very low. Dude if you put this on KZbin you've to accept if people open your eyes. And about Italy i don't give a...if Italy win I got you other examples of songs which dererves more and more then your.........."taste"...
