As a Delta pilot based in ATL and living in CHS this was a regular event. When loads were high, I rode the jump-seat. I had enough jump-seat rides that I began to learn the F/O flows. Great video!

Not all the a320s have iae engines, there's a solid chunk (especially in Delta's fleet) with cfm engines

It's engine is too noisy, because there's too much vibration in the compressor maybe.

That's just how the engine sounded; plus it sounds much louder because you're right next to the engine

It’s from the fan blades going supersonic. Newer engines with bypass gears don’t tend to spin as fast and thus, the buzz saw is (unfortunately) mostly eliminated or eliminated entirely
