The added layer of the bullying is not it for 😬Because the graphic in the manga?? It seems like the editor for the movie knew something is wrong about the story line... and that's why they adjusted it. Trust me, I LOVE my mean/bully/enemies romance but I think this also touched on what we talked about in the past about being true-insta love. If things are going to be THAT extreme... there should be a lot of character development and growth and explanation on the romance. I really do want to get started on Kaiju 8 but... LOL. I feel like mangas that haven't ended recently have broken my heart 😭 (AHEM JJK) so I'm a bit reluctant to start a series that's not completed. 💀 MY DEAR AGENT SOUNDS SO CUTE. AND IT'S SO SHORT TOO?? LMAO I'm about to expose how much of a book gremlin I am. 💀I'm guilty of dog-earring my personal books. I definitely don't do it for library books or when I borrow from someone else's. That is madness I do NOT support. Little libraries are so fun! The ones in my area are usually crammed full of older books (can't say I want to read a biography on JFK) so I try to put more recent books every time I take one. To be fair though, I am easily guilted especially when it comes to honor system things LOL .

I feel you so hard on the ‘reading book 1 of a series and just not continuing’ I want to pick up so many books (Lady Trent series, Half a Soul, all Brandon Sanderson’s books lmao) but they’re all part of a series and I’m already in the middle of so many…like why is every book now a series or duology or companion series😭at this point I’ve only been able to keep up with the Emily Wilde series haha good luck to us both🤞

I'm waiting for your list of all the manhwa that is on going that you're following though 😂 I have to be 100% honest, I don't think I've read any of these series 😅 I just feel like I'm not a series kind of person (most of the time). I think at the time we're talking, I think the only series I've read is the The Cruel Prince & Divine Rivals. I am starting the Poppy War trilogy... but out of the 60+ books for this year... very little series 😂 LOL You calling out that "we have opposite seasons." I feel like I should read Beach Read since we're at our peak temperature right now... but I feel like it'd just make feel even more hot??? I don't need my characters to go through this suffering I am at the moment too 😭 I read to get out of this world, and into the next cooler world.

For Leigh Bardugo books, seeing how she has grown into her style of writing throughout her books is interesting, but I found it’s harder to go back into her older works 😅 Shadow and Bone trilogy is still something I would keep on my shelves and think of fondly (I devoured the books in 2 days!!!) but I don’t know if I would enjoy them as much now

Oop yeah I think you are right those last two books might not be the vibe🙃 But I was intrigued right away by how much longer the Five Borken Blades video chapter was and after your discussion it totally seems like it is worth a read. I will keep in mind the advice to not read the audiobook though because I think I would be so frustrated reading it!
