Long shot but can you show how you are moved and spread the spring. I have the same problem in my 2017 Metris

Had same issue and same fix. Carefully increase the tension in that spring and just put it back in place. Careful not to slam the hood down after. Sit it on the closing clasp and then secure it by pressing it down forcefully with both hands. I let the hood slam and had to repeat the procedure a month later. Fix lasted until that fateful slam. Word to the wise.

This didn't work for me. I just cut small pieces of wood that'd fit jammed between the casing & the metal elbows that push down the switch. Now it thinks the hood is always closed & these dumb Germans aren't getting extra latch detector sales from me. I know that's why they make these. Just to charge rich people an idiot tax. Mercedes owners aren't opening their hoods.

Is it possible to send pictures where you jammed it? This sound is driving me bonkers and I need help. Please!

Two toddlers have died in the last two years in our town. Both finished their ISR lessons and still drowned in their pool.. Not that reliable when they're alone in the pool without supervision..

Hi Mr.Carstensen, thanks for sharing windfoil videos. I am wondering if there are any windfoil lessons provided by some instructors in Maryland near Annapolis?

good video. Wonder how much you weigh ? . I just purchased Levi 160 with Infinity 99. I been kite/foil for 11 yrs and have no experience with Windsurfing. I live in Toronto and we kite/foil in lake and wind is light. Very light. Usually 5~10 kt. +12 kt is good wind day for us here in summer time. I'm trying to get away with getting only 1 Sail for now which is for light wind set up. I'm 160 lb. I wish to get as small as possible but be able to fly 6~8 kt (is it possible ?) Which size Sail should I get ? I believe 160/99 set up is almost lightest wind set up one can get. After owning more than 12 kites, I've learn I don't need more than 15m Kite for my weight on lightest wind day. I wish to get a smallest sail but enuf to get up on foil by pumping on light day. (And maybe keep the same Sail upto 12 kt) Can you give me advice plz ? Thank you.

wot was the purpose of this again?
@lovelivingaloha40547 жыл бұрын
Hamish Mac This is a "LIFE SAVING TECHNIQUE" not a swim class. These are 2 very different things. The ISR has saved so many life's. It's truly a miraculous program. When a child learns to swim. They do so under the best of conditions. Whether it be with arm flotation devices, foam or floating board or lifesaving jacket. An usually on a beautiful sunny day, under the supervision of parents or guardians. Now take all that away. The child slips into the pool and begins to panic. Because he's realizing there's no one around! Once full blown panic sets in, all rationality goes out the window. They begin to flail, water rushes in the nose an mouth making them cough and gulp more water down! An before long the water overtakes them an they then drown, gone forever. But then look at this same scenario but with a child whose learned the ISR technique. The child falls in the pool. The child begins to panic, taking in water and gulps of air! Then suddenly muscle memory starts to take over. Before you know it they've instinctually flipped onto their back An steadied themselves until help can arrive. They've now accomplished their own self rescue because of this technique. I prefer for my child to survive than be a memory of what he could've been.
