His voice is still great! He had a fantastic voice, an amazing range, very flexible. I compare him with Paul McCartney, he was that good! And unlike PM, Mickey still has a great voice!

I was born in 66 so this kind of music was all around at the time, on the radio etc. These types of harmonic structures have an almost mystical effect on me, they get right under my skin.

I met him many years ago in Milwaukee, the venue they played at had a bowling alley in the basement with a bar, me and my buddy were having a few beers and he came in with a few roadies. Great guy and really down to earth 🤙
