@RustlerFilms2 жыл бұрын
The app should work with any iPad that has Apple Pencil support. The only difference is that you cannot run the machine faster than 60 cycles per second on regular iPads. IPad Pros can run the app at speeds up to 120 cycles per second.

Starting a tattoo career is expensive. If a software development company is willing to purchase my work and try to develop it further then maybe in the future it could be available. But the reason I chose iPad is because it can run faster simulations. Not all devices are capable at the moment.

Hi just got the app and wondering why there’s no damage button like shown in previous videos?
@RustlerFilms2 жыл бұрын
The damage feature was removed back in 2019 because of the lag it caused. It worked good in the earlier iOS versions, but as iOS evolved and updated, the damage feature became wildly ineffective.

Are you going on to the App Store with your iPad or your phone? The App Store detects what device you are using, and it will not display TattApp if you are using a phone since TattApp only works on iPads.

Yes, and finding a qualified trustworthy one is not as easy as it sounds, nor is it cost-effective
@HorizonEyes2 жыл бұрын
@@RustlerFilms I don’t think it sounds easy at all. I just think it would be faster & easier to fix some of the issues & they would have an incentive to promote the app. It would be perfect for a company like tattoo smart. Russ Abbot isn’t difficult to get ahold of. Thank you for continuing to update the app. A feature to adjust the needle sizes would be cool. They’re sometimes to big to use on the tattoos I do. The 1rl seems closer to a 3rl to me on my iPad.
@RustlerFilms2 жыл бұрын
@@HorizonEyes I would gladly sell TattApp to a company who could take it further. I’m just a tattoo artist, not a developer or savvy businessman. TattApp started as a project to help me get better at tattooing - I wasn’t planning to make something for sale. The size of the needles is limited by the size of the pixels on the iPad. I can’t make a 1rl smaller than 1 pixel.
@HorizonEyes2 жыл бұрын
@@RustlerFilms fair enough. As far as needle size, on mine a 1rl definitely isn’t one pixel. Yours looks a little closer to accurate. Maybe it’s because I‘m using it on my 9.7“ iPad?

so stupid. over one hour of talking shit and after that you finally start to draw. way over the top, just do the thing you can explain it all in while drawing the exact figure. its what all these "drawing teachers" do in courses, they talk shit, draw hundreds of helping lines and circles which instead of teach something just fill up the time with nonsense. 2 hours of jabber and the video simply could be 10-30 min long.

Cody. What powder did you use for the squibs. And the consistency of the blood. Was it a special mixture? Also. Did you prep the shirt before putting the squib in it, like sanding the fabric? Id love to see more of your squib work
@RustlerFilms9 жыл бұрын
DronkenDrenthen Shotgun powder for the squibs. I think I just bought some stuff called "bottle of blood" - it was really good stuff. I use an X-Acto knife and cut a tiny "x" in the shirt to make sure the blood blows out. I have a video on my channel here called Gobble Gobble Bang where I set off quite a few squibs - including a nice headshot. The navy made me call them "pop packs" in my 'making of' video - lame.
@zodfilm96779 жыл бұрын

Cody Deegan great. I use squibs myself too with a potent flash mixture. But it gives a much less subtle effect than the ones you use. I was wondering if the 'brave are the soldiers ' film is somewhere to be s een online or through vod rental. I'm quite curious to see the result of all that work
@RustlerFilms9 жыл бұрын
DronkenDrenthen I abandoned the project due to organizational problems. Trying to get that many people to work together who all have differing work schedules became a logistical nightmare. However I did use the props and squibs in another movie called ROBOT COMBAT
@Pietje_Piraat9 жыл бұрын
Cody Deegan Too bad, but very recognizable. I keep rewatching the squib making process though. It looks like you used pvc pipe, but later on when the wires are hanging out of the brass endcap the dia,eter seems smaller. Did you make different sizes? En did you finish the brass end cap squibs with woodglue or something, so the pressure would build up enough inside? It's all very different from the squibs I have seen.
@RustlerFilms9 жыл бұрын
DronkenDrenthen Mine are my own design. Those are actually much different than how I make them now. The brass caps were sealed with a threaded metal plug. Inside was the end of a shotgun wad. Although it works great, I abandoned the design because I wanted something smaller, and the wad can sometimes become a projectile.
