I've just discovered this, while watching someone play the PAL UK/FR/DE version. The odd thing about it is that that seems to be the only version to have this change (it's the only one I've never played). Not just the NTSC American version, but all other versions that contain English (even ones with the union jack) like PAL DK/NL/EN or even the Canadian version which has the same language options as the one in the video (EN/FR/DE) have the same, calmer flipendo voice line. I've made full playthroughs of every version of the game in every language and I've never played the original UK PAL release in English. 😂
