@propgear123 thankyou, I'm in the midlands UK 🇬🇧 🙂 Where are you located? Yeah its even better with a few of them up (apart from the near misses lol) You should put fpv on it, it's such a stable forgiving platform for it, can enjoy the view and just let it fly itself 😄

@@mark675 I am essex bud shame you are a bit far for a fly on a regular but I never say never 🤣🤣 we said that as soon as we laughed it for the 1st time that it will make a great fpv platform. I am hoping 2025 gets me and my buds back together as they have stuff going on as well and I have been flying alone for about 2 years now lol it hard to get excited and go fly sometimes but I still love it as much as the 1st day I started just wish more people were into the hobby instead of trying to ruin it haha 2024 was OK but summer seemed every day was windy and or raining it really hacks me off. Winter I find is best for zero wind days but always freezing cold fingers 🤣🤣🤣we can't win here lol

@propgear123 yeah you're right that it's hard to win with the uk weather lol That's a shame about you not having people to fly with anymore, would be brilliant to get together in the future for a fly, you sound just like us with loads of flying toys 😁 I say to everyone that RC is the best hobby in the world, even when the weathers bad we're designing, tinkering and building! haha!

But on the other side I have more than enough 80 and 90mm edfs waiting to be maidenend or flown :PP Maybe it will be a fun short winter project. @@IDBUZZ_RC_DIY it has good flight times bud. You get about 8minutes per battery. If you buy the plane with 2 or 3 extra batteries you will have plenty if flight time and they are rechargeable 👍🏼

You can run it on 3s and that gets it off the deck smartly. BUT, the full battery voltage is fed to the flight board and the JST plug and battery wires get very warm as do the Motor and ESC. Going WOT for any length of time is pretty likely to burn something out. 1 of ours died on 3s but that was probably due to the Old Fellah flying it getting the motor full of sand and re-launching it before clearing it out completely. 😉🙄

@@foxcodmYT hey bud great choice. If you buy from Ali express their is loads of vendors and some offer the option to add extra batteries always tick the Bix for 2 extra if they offer it because buying them separately is expensive. Thx for watching my friend. Let me know how you get on 👍🏼

Maybe put a brushless system in it because those tyxin boats have surprisingly good jet pumps that handles brushless really well.

Hey bud which one are you thinking of getting? Depending how light it is 2cell is great for indoors but I find outside the wind bosses the plane a bit more than I like so prefer 3s outside. I use tmotors and emax servos you can use a bit bigger motor etc but the recommended set up is normally perfect. I don't get the over priced twisted hobbys electronics you can get the same or better a lot cheaper ❤️❤️❤️

@@propgear123 I want a smaller one, was thinking about the Extra Slick. Already have the Eratix and I want something smaller. I usually like to find budget electronics but with these I thought I'd be better I stick to what they recommend to keep the weight down. Not too worried about the wind as I don't usually fly if it's windy.

@@A.M.-RC that's cool bud. The size I have here is what you are after 30odd inches wingspan and theu recommend 2 or 3cell. If you are looking at the micro twisted ones they are very twitchy and I wouldn't recommend one for you 1st plane it will frustrate you. I chose a cheap motor for my 1st one and it was OK but you can't beat the recommend tmotor. Servos you can put what you want in as long as they are not 1 dolla servos they will be fine. Emax are quality and cheap metal gear or nylon. Escs are the same no matter what so choose any 1 you like 10a 12a very small ❤️❤️❤️

I did bud it went from 3mph to 5mph 🤣🤣🤣I defo got a duff one. Never mind I will try a 3cell and it will either smoke it or be a bit quicker 🤣🤣🤷‍♂️

​@@propgear123 I just ordered and received one. Yet to test in water but have bench tested and it seems to be having the same problem as yours. First 1/4 of throttle seems to be binding motor, doesn't spin as fast full throttle and won't activate reverse. To me it seems something is binding/rubbing probably a drive cup set too close to a mount or something like that, unfortunately these are enclosed so I would have to unscrew to investigate. Did you get to the bottom of yours?

@@druscanam no bud unfortunately I haven't solved it. I will try a 3cell and if it smokes it smokes and I will go brushless. I could of sent it back to China but it a pita. Shame as it looks the business. Fingers crossed yours is an easy fix bud. Keep me up to date please. I have had a crap month rain nearly every day haha summer in the uk sucks atm 🤣🤣🤣🙈👍🏼
