Cons: extremely unstable at highway speed and gets more unstable above 80 mph thus the 100 mph speed limiter. Bmw won't fix the design. Its more of a sport bike with bags...definitely not a cross country tourer. Save yourself the headache by not buying this unstable bike. You'll find it great for low speed 2 lane curvy roads, but very unstable and wobbly on the highway around cars and trucks...I know because I bought one after hearing all the hype but immediately joined all the other people who got suckered into believing it was the ultimate touring bike...it definitely is NOT!

The Honda NT 1100 is more specific for asphalt roads because the NT 1100 is more focused on touring mode. If you often go over rocky roads, it would be better if you choose the newest African Twing 1100 L, because actually their engines are the same, just the body and driving design are different.
