Using a fly rod and flys isn’t fly fishing all of a sudden? Also yes some do get snagged unfortunately but it’s less likely when using flys believe it or not most fish you catch actually eat the fly or false egg.

You need chance weights or springs on that chinese primary clutch. That should fix your problems on that part.

Make sure you have the belt the right way!. The belt goes one way, flat side towards the motor. Taper side of the belt facing outward

No it needs the choke to start even when it is 50 degrees outside. I'm told that is normal I don't think it is normal.

I want to get a full face helmet and have a chin mount on the helmet. I was filming from my chest mount and couldn’t get it tight enough to my body to keep it from moving around. That’s why I sped up most of the footage.

i think the main reason for that crash was the fact you wasn't carrying enough speed for the jumps and cased most of them, therefor causing instability and sending you sideways on the last jump you hit. overall great video keep up the good content 😁

Great build! Here's a suggestion for you...if you shorten the hitch you will plow alot less snow and the sled ride better. You want to space the hitch lenghth so that when you are in the sled comfortably holding the handle bars, your feet are in the middle of the sled, or slighlty toward the back. Standing in toward the front of the sled, your weight is pushing down directly at the front and pushes the nose of the sled down. If you have your feet in the middle, or slightly toward the back, the nose of the sled rides up better and you won't get so much snow piling up and pushing into the sled....and you'll even increase gas mileage and horsepower a little more. But great looking build!

You'll always have to start a Predator with the choke on, even when it's warm. When your belt breaks in,(after you put it on right) your sled will probably stop walking when it's idling. Nice build btw.

I know about the clutch haven't gotten around to it. But good to know on the choke I've heard that changing spark plug to a higher or lower will help that but haven't tried that.

Fix the clutch bud. Shouldn’t roll like that. Belt might be backwards which would make it do that too.

Belts on wrong. 🤓The belt has an angled side and a flat up and down side. Angled side goes on the outside, then the belt won't engage at idle and drive away. Great build 🏆👍

To firm up the steering, mount the bars directly to the folding part. You're loosing input due to flex. Looks great

If you extend the wires to retch to the Handel bars move the starter switch to the Handel bars it make it easy to start for the choke fine a old mower take the throttle cable assembly and use it for your choke

Adjust that clutch setup.. that's not supposed to be like that at all lol and if you lock the handle bars from going down you can tilt the machine to steer way easier.

if you look at the comet clutch drive the belt it needs to be turned around the belt has a flat side and the other side is tapered. The flat side of the belt needs to be toward the motor and you will be able to idle without it wanting to go.

I put a predator motor on a roto tiller. I had troubles with it dying for no reason when tilling in rough ground. It would always start back up after a minute or two. While I never "officially" figured it out I always felt like it was being caused by the low oil shut down from the tiller bouncing in rough ground. Especially when breaking new sod. The video made it look like a smooth ride but I've got to assume it was rougher than it looked going through those fields with that. Regardless, looks like fun! Good job!

Boys if the motor needs more fuel and it dies it's like a outboard fishing motor I built a boat from scratch and I hit the water with it as I thought it was ready it would idle all day long but when you would throttle it up it would scream then die, looked at the primer bulb was flat as a pancake, better primer bulb worked fine, remember you get what you pay for

Looks like your clutch might need shortened. it does not have enough slack to start with out pulling you. It should have to have some rpms to engage.
