Beard hair is about as strong as equally size copper wire, and it has very tapered sharp points. Young children's skin is much more sensitive. You're basically dropping some copper wool on your baby's face.

I can’t tell you how great it is to see dads interacting with their babies. When I was growing up most dads were aloof and distant. This is so healthy.
