There are so many stories about people in the past going back thousands of years, equally as epic, that could end in the same way
@joeyspock2330Ай бұрын
So much meaning in this ending! This story was a violent, epic drama of revenge and love and its just a withering story that was so insignificant to the creation of New York City.

...for the rest of time, no one will remember the twin towers were here.... Having said that, I must admit that Brooklyn bridge is a marvel of human engineering.

Crazy how even the graves are not there anymore. Makes you think, will graveyards filled with our descendants (and us) even be around in the future? Even the graveyards will be paved over (or dug up) and make way for something else. We aren't even a memory (graveyard) but it's like we never existed at all. Wow.

I think the 5 points area municipality kept records of most burial sites. I remember a documentary where it was mentioned that new Amsterdam Dutch grave yard was removed and reburried before real estate came.

So this movie was really really good, but it kind of rushed the third act. I feel like it could be made into a mini series instead.

Something about how during the rapid transition to the present, the camera is slowly panning up, but the skyline grows to quickly for the camera to keep everything in view, yet the grave site is continuously front and center. Almost as if we can only see the portion of history that we’re alive for and fragments of those who came before, but we can never see nor conceive of what the future could look like, because it’s just out of our view

God bless the Twin Towers of New York United States. The horrendous loss that day. As the workers flung themselves to the ground in despairing shock, and unto their deaths we will always remember. How the Arabs set upon what was known as the free world.

@pablot-r94026 ай бұрын
Every repeating four measures of the main musical melody symbolizes the birth & passing of eras & people, come and gone, again and again, past, present, and future. You could play this music to people in the year 3050, and they would still understand its time transcending poetic meaning.

Given this was released POST-9/11, it would have been fitting if they had a shot of the city in 2002 without the towers there since they clearly weren't there by the time this came out. If you're gonna depict a passage of time here to modern day, then you ought to be accurate about it.
