I definitely agree. I would never use builder gel in a bottle for extensions for the same reason you feel. I am fairly newly qualified and we were taught not to use builder in a bottle and if doing any gel extensions use hard gel instead.

We don't advise dehydrating the nail at anytime, we find it can cause retention issues x

I'm new to doing gel nails. I quickly discovered that builder gel was not going to hold up at work. I used polygel next and never looked back. Your product looks amazing! I might give it a try when this color comes out.

Hello, I just found your channel and really like your videos. I’ve been wondering if the “overlay method” (where the tip is placed a bit higher from the cuticle and then builder gel applied) is actually good or not. Thank you for speaking about that! I do have a question, if I am doing this on my own nails, when curing each nail, do I need a small lamp or can I use the regular sized lamp?

Hey! We wouldn’t recommend using Builder in a Bottle for that. Hard Gel would be much better if full cover tips. When applying full cover tips you need the focus beamed lamp so you can use two hands to hold the tip in place x

You really shouldn’t be using builder to extend nails. Hard Gel is much better for that. Builder won’t cure at the thickness required to extend xx

Are these not uploaded to KZbin anymore? I normally listen on Castbox but came on to see if they were on here. I was just listening to the most recent ep about who can buy gel and I wanted to say that recently I asked on Facebook if there's a nail brand who does acrylic/gel/builder/acrygel all hema free and got a brand recommended to me. I thought wow this brand really ticks the boxes. Amazing reviews, good price, does all of the products I need. Then I went to purchase and realised that the only way to purchase was on TikTok Shop. I've never used Tiktok shop so didn't know it would just let me purchase without any checks and despite doing everything I wanted from a company I just COULDNT buy anything because I can't support a brand that sells their gels without any checks. I, like Chris and Becca, have very strong morals. I'd rather lose out on a potentially good set of products than support a business selling on tiktok shop (it's the check side that bothers me. I don't care about Dali selling their air dry polish on there - that's fine!). But I won't name the business because at the same time I understand why they are doing it. I guess I understand why you wouldn't want to run checks. It's money after all. I just can't support it. Just wanted to weigh in. I think I'm going to sack acrylic in my salon anyway so I can now actually rebrand to Nail Order!!

Your correct about the difference in self levelling between shades as have angel in ‘seraph’ and ‘divine’. The seraph self levels but divine doesn’t which is so annoying as I avoid using it snd hence waste of my money.

I'm sorry we missed this comment. Our builder should last 3-4 weeks with the correct application. You should see no difference even though its HEMA free xx
