How long can you store it and can you freeze it?
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet 4 ай бұрын
I would recommend eating it within 4 days for optimal food safety. I've never tried freezing it, but I don't think it would work well for the recipe unfortunately. Hope this helps!

I would put it in a sterilized jar with a spoonful of vegan yogurt and set it in my oven overnight with the light on..

Looks great! As someone with a family history of Cancer I so wish the Cancer fighting properties of phytoestrogen in soy wasn't seen as unhealthy while the real estrogen found in dairy which increases Cancer risk is ignored. Thanks for posting

I can safely say, it is is every bit as delicious as it looks! I’ve made it myself and it is delicious and nutritious! Just like that! The only difference is I used soy milk, but it’s all good!

I would add some coffee because of its name. Cappuccino should be one of the ingredients. It looks yummy, thanks for sharing!
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It does have coffee in the form of cold brew ice cubes. You can find the details in the full recipe on the blog. But of course it's a "frappuccino" with a twist since it is made with a base of bananas, dates and those cold brew ice cubes. Definitely not a typical Frappuccino. ☺️

Are they boiled chickpeas or just soaked in the water
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet 2 жыл бұрын
I usually use canned chickpeas that I rinse and drain. But if you want to cook them from scratch, I recommend soaking them overnight, then boiling them for more than an hour until they're soft. I hope this helps!

Where's the probiotic? How's this yogurt?
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet 2 жыл бұрын
There is an option to add probiotics to the recipe. You can find the details on the blog. That being said, the goal of this recipe is not to be traditional yogurt. This is simply a quick and easy vegan "yogurt".
@martadjt6920
@martadjt6920 Жыл бұрын
@@CarolineDoucet I agree with this comment! If there is no probiotic than it's no yogurt at all. It's a mousse or cream, but definitely not a yogurt! "Different" yogurt can be in flavour, contents, way of preparing etc, but not with no probiotic 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂
@martadjt6920
@martadjt6920 Жыл бұрын
This is what website says: "Should you add probiotics to your vegan yogurt? No. It’s not necessary and you’re better off taking the supplement as directed by the brand." I'm laughing myself off hahahahahah please, STOP misguiding people. Learn what is yogurt before trying to make it.
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet Жыл бұрын
@@martadjt6920 You can add probiotics if you want, but it is important to follow the brand's instructions. For example, if you're breaking a capsule to add the powder, you won't get the sams benefits as the capsule ensures that the probiotics are absorbed at the right time. I hope that makes sense. But of course this is not a traditional yogurt recipe. It's a simple vegan recipe with the option of adding probiotics.
@ShhheilaASMR
@ShhheilaASMR 4 ай бұрын
@@CarolineDoucetI'm in agreeance with The creator. Sometimes ppl just want a yogurt substitute that's cheaper- for taste/convenience not probiotic benefits, and taking the supplements as directed will be more effective than breaking the capsule. Also a salad is the best way to boost your probiotics anyway not a supplement.

Your kitchen is simply beautiful. I did not see any house tour, did you decided not to do it after all? I'm trying to figure out how you manage to have a nice kitchen like that, but separate from the living room and what the m² is My family does want the kitchen to be opened sadly Thx

Thank you so much! And yes, I didn't end up posting the full house tour on KZbin and shared more on Instagram a while back instead. I had taken a little KZbin break at the time, plus it took a while to "finish" organizing and decorating the entire house. But it's something I could still share here if there's interest. ☺️

Hi I have been searching and this looks too easy! Thank you. Did you soak the lentils over night or just rinsed them? Also do you think it will work with sunflower seeds as well?
@CarolineDoucet
@CarolineDoucet 2 жыл бұрын
The recipe uses canned lentils, so all you need to do is drain and rinse them. If you want to try to use dried lentils, I recommend rinsing them, then boiling them until tender. Make sure that you use the right amount. And yes, sunflower seeds will work. I hope this helps! ☺️
