I think these kids should be protected. They're made to think what they're doing is cool, but it really isn't suitable for their ages.

You rarely see kids who start so young end up with a bright future. There are so many ill effects to getting into this biz from a young and tender age.

I think that teens should definitely be independent, but they shouldn't get so destructive that they ruin things for themselves. Just like doc explained.

You're right Dr. Ludwig, a lot of time the private matters are really disturbing but we don't know anything about it. The truth always comes out later and shocks the public.

Great output Dr. Ludwig. I agree that the whole questioning process adds more trauma for victims. Especially younger victims.

Josh will pay for what he did, in God's time, in God's way and people should just let this go for the sake of the girls involved. It's harming them more than it's helping them. Trust me, I know in more ways than one.

I'm not sure I'd want my kids being models at 14, I think 16/17 is a good age for modeling, as long as you have a parent by your side to keep an eye on you until you are 18 years of age. I can't imagine leaving my kid alone in that industry.

I would love to have something like this in addition to my regular therapy. My therapist can't see me enough because she's too busy. And I really need to see her more. But I'm on Medicaid, so I doubt even "I" could afford them.
@TamiWinbushAuthor9 жыл бұрын
That's such a sad thing that's happened. Inexcusable, on Josh's part, and the parent's part. I think that they needed to do more. I wish that they would leave the girls alone. Keep bringing them into it, only makes it worse for them. Having been there, I know it's hell. They have to forgive or they will constantly be reliving it in their minds and be suffering forever.

I'm sorry, I really think that kids need to have some sort of balance and rules. My boyfriends kids have neither. He lets them rules the roost. You're saying that they are going to be the next Steve Jobs because of it? I think not!

I've never heard of a 5150 before. I guess that's a good thing for anyone if they are getting out of control like that. I hope they can get her back into control of her life and back into part of the family. *hugs* to Kim and her loved ones.

I guess I don't know how people can cheat on others. But I've always been on the other end of the cheating. So I've always thought it was me. So I is there a way to tell if it IS you?
@TamiWinbushAuthor9 жыл бұрын
It really doesn't matter what you put out on the internet. Whether it be on Facebook, or Twitter, etc. if it's out there, someone can find it and it can be made known. So, if you don't want someone to know about it, then you really shouldn't put it out there. It's just not a good idea.
@TamiWinbushAuthor9 жыл бұрын
I can't believe that people can do that, I just don't see what the attraction can be to little kids. It makes me sick and is something that I just don't understand at all. And his fame and money made it even easier to hide for longer. Ick!

Every person we see on TV is a human being and just like everyone else they can be good or bad. What they show on TV is never their true self, but the image they need to project in order to stay popular and profitable. Sometimes they use their TV image to do awful things like this and they still aren't always caught. Those, however, who do get caught must face everything an every-day person would face if they were doing the same things.
@kyprosandreou20089 жыл бұрын
Sometimes people stop being able to understand what they truly need to get better, so "5150" is a good way to help them, even if they don't choose it themselves. I believe Kim would be greatly benefited if she got this kind of treatment, especially since her family feels that this is their only option helping her!

not saying the girl wasn't raped but if i was on a jury i dont think i could convict him too much doubt in the story. its very likely she was raped however teh way things went down i couldn't in good concience send this guy away with so much reasonable doubt.
@kyprosandreou20089 жыл бұрын
The whole thing with this man is distracting people from the important issues that should have been on focus. Well, it's pretty clear to me. He looks just like a con man who has lied a lot, just to get what he needed and now that his lies are being questioned, he doesn't have the evidence (which he would easily get if he was truthful) to prove that he wasn't actually lying. Stop discussing about this guy and get back to the real problems!

I completely agree with you, Dr. Ludwig! No matter what kind of website that could ever be that got hacked like this, the true lesson from the whole Ashley Madison story is that nothing that gets shared or published online can ever be completely safe and secure. The only reason that specifically leaking information from the Ashley Madison website was important to me is not that it has to do with adultery or that many famous and esteemed people were caught too, but that they claimed it to be extra secure! As scary as it sounds, the truth is that there is no true privacy online!

I personally believe that the Duggars are just another brand name in the TV world and just act like one. They are pretentious and liars, just to keep their brand name strong. I don't question or judge their beliefs and ethics, because this is not the issue here. The issue is that someone sexually harassed underage girls and he should be judged and trialed exactly as any other man would have been. It doesn't bother me at all if their show never comes back on TV, I don't feel that it has something to give to people anymore!

It must be awful when people question your side of the story and you know in your own mind what happened. the media always seems to get this wrong. their is a lot of rape incidents going on behind closed doors and its never reported., women need to speak up more and put these terrible people where they belong in jail

I have to say that I completely agree with all that is being said by Ludwig. As a abuse survivor myself I can tell you that when trauma happens the body and mind handles it differently from person to person. It saddens me to see these type of things going on campuses across America.

I completely agree with Dr. Ludwig. PTSD can truly affect memories in various ways. Although the victim's timeline may not be accurate, it's unlikely that the victim's accusation is false.

Great information and I completely agree.< An ex is simply an ex, move along and become the person you were meant to be. Ultimately you gotta move along and love life, realize that life is short and that life is so precious. We have 1 single life to enjoy on this planet and we truly must love life and everything we do.< Sometimes some people you can't rely on and if they just vanish they you should never even give them even the smallest portion of your energy. Use that amazing energy you have to find a person that actually wants to be with you and make you happy.< Many fish in the sea.< :)
