Being the only phone in the market where the exposure and shadow sliders require you to switch to another page in the camera app in order to access them, instead of being directly in the viewfinder - is still a step down and added inconvenience that just doesn't make sense. Not that a large part of their decisions make sense to begin with but yea..

My Panasonic GX80 (European version) blows my Galaxy S23 Ultra out of the water for video, and it only has 4K at 24fps and 100mb. that is really sufficient for vacation shoots in the mountains. I use the Zhiyun m3 gimbal as a combination. Works quite nice

This is different - that’s actual HDR colour mapping. I’m talking about how colours are represented in normal photos on the pixel

I had the s23 ultra and i had to give it back, 9x out of 10 none of my photos or videos looked remotely close to natural colours i see with my eyes, i turned off settings that was recommended in samsung forums but it still was garbage, yeah they had good video quality and camera quality i just hated samsungs post processing colour science. Photos looked better before in my opinion I did in fact get the 8 pro and prefer it. Point and shoot it is a beast

Have the DSLR shots been processed, were you shooting in raw or JPG? Were you using functions of the DSLR (like taking the images in manual mode rather than auto) which you weren't on the Pixel? Because a comparison like this, should really be a level playing field, right? We need the detail to better understand the comparison.

The 60 sec video thing is not as big a problem as people want to make it out to be. For a regular person just posting small stuff for friends and family, the 60 sec is more then enough. Most people aren't watching any video longer then that anyways.

@@ItsTomRich Did you use it as your main phone for a few months? I have used 5a and very disappointing except the photography. Personally I think pixel photos look more professional. Just like a shot on a professional camera , aesthetics matching perfectly. When comparing Samsung it looks more bluish and sometimes less detailed and on the iPhone it looks more warmer and mute. Anyone who doesn't focus on editing can post a pixel photo directly in social media. Great vid bruv 💙. Keep em coming

Whoever is praising Chinese phones for videography, surely hasn't tried the iPhone 15 Pro Max vs Chinese phones side by side... I agree in terms of Photography Oppo/Vivo has leapfrogged the competition but pixel 8 pro is still the king of Photography
@SK1Pintheflesh4 күн бұрын
@@HansTechTalk Well I know the capabilities of the Pixel 8 series cameras are outstanding, producing more vivid colours rather than true to life (which can be adjusted to the users preference) but the camera hardware on the chinese smartphones already gives it an edge over the Pixel 8 phones, besides the latter does more processing than the former here. And as for iPhones, I think that one speaks pretty much for itself.
