No mention of the huge home field advantage at Beaver Stadium and it's December weather in PA ? Also, Penn State has better overall talent recruiting wise and more depth of talent on both lines of scrimmage. There's a reason they were heavy favorites over SMU

Objectively, you had to see that SMU was not in the same league as PSU. Just strength of schedule and average margin of wins and losses would have shown you that. Does SMU have a nice team? Yes, but physically, they really weren't a match for a B10 school. And even if that didn't convince you, SMU going to a cold winter stadium with 100,000 screaming fans opposing is something that SMU has never experienced before and you could have made the call on that alone.

The ACC is a joke. Period. The team in that conference are 2nd tier to the BIG & SEC. SMU only scored a TD when our 2nd/3rd string guys were playing and our defense outscored SMU.

Be clear, when Prime was hired at JSU, TC was already on staff and the only requirement for him to be head coach was that he keep TC an Coach O on his new staff. TC was heir apparent, but for the opportunity to bring in Prime he would have been hired as head coach. As a JSU alumni i am appreciative of all the positive things Prime did but don't give him credit for what he had nothing to do with.

TC Taylor was not the coach Deion wanted. It was already make clearly before Deion left that TC was likely the next coach. His stamp of approval did not prevent any players or coaches from leaving. By the time Prime got really settled in Boulder, there were 2 coaches and 20 players left. Anyone who was connected to JSU before Prime knew that TC was expected to be the next coach. He was about to sign as coach when the opportunity to get Prime became available.
