As a foreigner you are NOT allowed to Own a Property in the Philippines… You are allowed to own 40% of a Building if the other 60% is owned by a Philippine National, Also you are not allowed to own the LAND .. 100% of the Land can only be owned by a Philippine.. When property is Sold you have to negotiate the price of the Land then the buildings. Do your due diligence.. Get your own Lawyer or Solicitor… You can Set up a Business to own but again its also has to have a Philippine as a Partner in Business…… RENT don’t BUY….

@@Superspice101 It was owned by a Canadian and was on AIR B&B, His Philippine Wife Left Him and ended up with The Land and 60% Value of the Property. The Canadian Went home with $46,000 Dollars from a $300,000 dollar sale. It happens a lot in the Philippines, DO NOT TRUST THEM. They Marry you get you to buy a house then after 18 months File for Divorce and take their 60% and all the Land Value… This is a Perfect example of Philippines marrying for Profit ..
