This is optimal. It’s the iRacing way. This happens in every practice session and race no matter the car or track. If you’re lucky they might even wipe out the leaders for you

This was me. Every time I've been on the inside in this corner, the cars on the outside, even if they are in a slower class, have tried to carry more speed and get as close to the apex since the exit is so tight and easy to get an off track. I've not had a single car yield T1 to allow cars to go two wide. Slowed to let those few GT cars go by and then it turns out its a 10 car queue. Ended up stuck between a rock and a hard place so at least tried to stay as out of the way as possible. Wish the pit exit used the section that cuts T1 though so I could have got entirely out of the way

Hey, your intentions were good and nobody crashed! I just thought it was funny going into T1 and suddenly there's a GTP parked on the apex, like that's the last thing I expected from this super fast turn. No harm meant with this shitpost - trust me, far worse stuff happened in that race, I ended up with 5 4x's just from ill-considered divebombs lol

@@SLENDAMANN oh yeah no harm or offense taken. I remember being terrified though as the cars kept coming and I ended up accidentally as this sitting duck. This race was a total shit show, for me and my team mate, easily our worst ever enduro. Think we got about 50 incident points from off tracks and spins and lost the will to live.

what setup are you using for drive ?

Stiffened up the suspension, dropped the ride height, opened the diff and put the gear ratio at somewhere near max for the final two gears. Mega top speed but hardly the most stable setup lol

Nobody has ever regretted financially dubious decisions when it comes to simracing. I say take out a loan and get 2 wheels instead - it's the only way to be sure!
