Enoch Sontonga Arts Initiative

Celebrating Enoch Sontonga's Life through Music, the man who composed the South African National Anthem. Aspiring Soloists all over South Africa partake in a yearly Contest that is created for them to showcase their talents as some are struggling to make it to the Higher Learning Institutions as a result of low Matric Results or not obtaining a Senior Certificate at all due to various reasons. This also serves a as Platform for South African Choral Female Composers to have a space for their Music being appreciated and prescribed through this Platform so that may also fill up a space in the Choral fraternity of South Africa and hopefully abroad. The Singers in this Contest are mostly from the poorest of backgrounds, from our dusty township streets. While all they know is to just SING, we also strive for their breakthrough and a reason for them to see their worth and contribute in changing their backgrounds while we eradicate crime from our communities as well through music.
