This is one of the best review for this ExpertBook. Maybe you can also record the fan noise compaired to e key button press and the running intervals would also be helpful to know: does the fan regulary start and stop / pulse in office use?

IN conversation with HP Expert before purchasing he told me there are 2 speakers located at the front / below... The two vents on the front / top next to keyboard are purely vents, not speakers. I will soon find out as I'm ordering one today.

I heard it overheats, randomly shuts down and it can't take most SSDs so upgrading it is near impossible.

Does not work with Mac m1 2020. Tried every configuration - but just extends one monitor.

Lunar Lake CPU is great for traveling consultants, accounting auditors, sales reps, traveling nurses, doctors without borders, or traveling news journalist that still haven't switched to a MacBook Air. The battery life and snappy CPU performance makes it invaluable. Add on blazing fast RAM speeds (8533 MHz) and Wi-Fi 7. I am worried about durability with it being so thin. For that reason, I would prefer a Dell Latitude 14-inch or Lenovo ThinkPad T14 with Lunar Lake. They tend to have better durability and repairability.

Wish I would've waited a year to grab the 2023 version of this with the working speakers on both sides of the keyboard. The previous model just has empty vents and front firing speakers under the laptop (what were they thinking?!). At least they fixed this on future models.

i recently purchased a DELL PRECISION 7750. Tbh processor temp goes 100degree under full load. Similar cases with other users. I have got my refund back. Note their is no way tweak in bios. Even after bios update. No doubt it has an excellent look and premium feeling but no point if run red hot on professional tasks...Highly dissapointed..

Great video. Just got one with the AMD Ryzen 5 and 8Gb RAM. I actually wanted to upgrade right away to 16Gb and while I managed to pry the back cover off (after watching 2 dozen videos to make sure I was doing it right), I absolutely CANNOT find where the RAM is located. Anyone have an idea where it is and how to get at it, please share. For the record I got the battery out, took the cooling fan out, and what looks like a heat sink for the CPU - and can't locate the RAM. I do not mind working on PCs but this is crazy and I don't want to kill this laptop 3 days after I got it. Thanks.

Which one would you recommend?

without having tried this, i think i prefer the older MH3021P for our office conference room since it can double as an HDMI adapter for the TV, and the upward facing speaker seems more suited to a table with people sitting all around it.
