I didn’t know about the dock demon until about 3yrs ago when I was fishing a dock and snagged on one, I used it for a year or two and then donated it to a bass pro kids thing. Just recently bought another and the spincast dock runner and threw on zebco 33 micro gold reels on them.

i just caught a whole mess of crappies with my dock demon.

I used those worms in the late 70's to catch catfish in a local river. The neighbor behind me had a boy my age and a catalpa tree. In the summer we practically went fishing every day and always used catalpa worms.

I will say the quality of Googan hard baits, buzz bait, click bait, and their jigs Are made with good quality. Haven’t had too much success with them(had some good days with their small sq bill) but that’s probably me being a shotty fisherman lol. 6th sense hardbaits are fantastic in my opinion. They’re the top of the class for their price range. Soft baits goes to Googan. Bandito is a guarentee. Idc about how long they last.

I am partial to Keitech swing impact FAT’s but have been eyeing these ozark trails. Think I’ll give them a shot. I haven’t found any baits that swim as good as the Keitechs. Particularly when you pitch them into cover and just let them sink out. The key to great action is not putting to big of a hook on them. Not all hook brands are the same size wise. I like a Berkeley fusion 3/0 swim bait hook for a 3.8/4” bait. Thanks for the video!

6 th sense hard baits are on a different level, soft plastics I do love the sauce on the googans just wish the plastic would last a Lil longer . Both are definitely tried on right now lol

ive been using a zebco dock demon rod for many many years paired with a zebco zse20 reel, 20lb mono and a 4/0 circle hook. i have caught countless catfish like this but recently decided to change it up a bit. i just put a Penn Pursuit4 4000 reel with 30lb braid and a 6/0 circle hook on it. cant wait to go catfishing again. its hilarious seeing the reaction of people when they see me land a fish that is longer than the pole im using. i thought about putting one of my Pursuit4 6000 or 8000 reels on but the wont fit without modifications and thats not happening.

I'm not too sure about where you're at but where I'm at in Washington State when you have a pond or a small lake that has a. Ton of tiny little fish in it there tends to be a alllgie boom from the couple years passed that killed all the fish so they have to restart.

HECK YEA THEY WORK. I LOVE CATALPA WORMS! THAT'S ALL I USE AND I'VE CAUGHT A BUNCH OF CHANNELS AND BIG BLUES WITH THEM. WE HAVE PLANTED A BUNCH OF CATALPA TREES AND WE GET A COUPLE THOUSAND WORMS OFF OF THEM EVERY YEAR. I ENJOYED THE VIDEO AND THOSE WERE SOME NICE CATFISH! GREAT VIDEO!

I use one too pretty regularly.... On small KY creeks where I cant cast with a full size. Some of these little waterways have some pretty big fish in them.
