Got to say I'm jealous of the accent Love how you say "Byable" and "196nyan" I'm from the west coast and we don't have cool accents lol. And I have 3 of those orange ones I thought that was the only color they came in.

I found that the value of the clothes that came from Stately was on par with the kind of items you fish out of a bin in a bargain basement store. Nothing like what they show in their social media ads or ship to influencers. Stay away. See also Stitch Fix. I think they buy truckloads of unsold items from retailers and pass it on as “upscale selected just for you” through crafted marketing photos. Nothing I ever received was anything remotely close to what they show in their social media posts or what I had selected in my profile (or the extended profile you can add photos to). Someone may be the type that really can’t pick clothing; in that case this service may somehow help but for your money it would be better for you to actually ask for advice in a clothing store.

Debated giving these services a try since I have to go back to the office. The “real” and “honest” reviews have me convinced this is a terrible route to go. So fellas, here me out. I went to Joseph A Bank, tried on a shit ton of stuff to get a sense for their sizing. Bought 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants for $150. Went home, jumped on their website, went to sales/clearance. Ordered 8 dress shirts @ $18 each, 8 dress casual pants at $20-$24 each, grabbed a nice ass pair of shoes for $25, and added in a few clearance pull overs. Literally less than $500 (not incl the initial in store purchase) and my work wardrobe is fresh and clean for 2 weeks worth of wear. Quality I think, is as good or better than this stuff.

That's funny about your professor not allowing the tabs. I had a similar situation, except the professor didn't allow my NIV because he wanted us to have one of the four main reliable translations (I think it was four). If I remember correctly, he only allowed KJV, NKJV, ESV, and NASB. I also had to go to a store near by and buy whatever I could find. I ended up with a super cheap NKJV. I don't think I used it except in the class.

Great review. I've been on the fence about ordering from them. I didn't expect to actually get $300 worth of clothing in the $150 box, like you I expected to look the items up online and find them for cheap.. I was just interested in having someone style the outfits for me BUT also hopefully get some decent items in the process. However, the fact you're getting the same brand items in the different boxes tells me they don't really put much effort into the styles as the act like they do.

Glad you did this, I was looking for someone more realistic and not about tge money.

I think some thing that not many are aware of when it comes to the Message, is that Eugene Peterson never claimed it is a translation. He did the message as a Bible help (companion), to us with your primary translation.

Great review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I was also very unhappy with my experience with Stately. I filled out my Style Preferences in detail, including pictures from their own social media as examples. I asked for business / business casual clothes specifically. I'm a marketing manager in my early 50s. They sent me total d-bag clothes for a guy in his 20s in Orange County. They followed none of my requests and completely ignored by style preferences. Scheduling a call with them is impossible. My second box was just as bad (if not worse). It took 5 emails and a phone call, but I finally got them to cancel, but I was still out the $$ for both boxes. I got one jacket out it.

I wonder if the Regal Plan has a higher quality of clothing. If yes, I may try it. Thanks for your update.

I have a question...does it matter which publisher you get? I read the KJV... I need a very large print so I have to get a new one...Help... I'm stuck trying to figure out which publisher...they say they charge spellings and words..God bless

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They have very poor customer service. If you don’t like something they will blame it on you for not filling out the « additional style preferences » but here are a few things you need to know. First, the additional style preferences field is limited to a certain number of characters. So if you wanted to provide details, you couldn’t. Second, they have ignored my style preferences on multiple occasions. They sent me slim pants 5 times while my very first sentence in my profile was « PANTS: not slim. ». Third: they sent me the exact same pair of shoes twice in two different boxes. For people who are supposed to pay attention to details… I am not sure if they actually care. They also sent me the wrong shoe size… finally, the reason you never find bad reviews is they block the users who do and they delete the reviews afterwards. Hopefully, this honest review stays here.

Yup that's a Chinese Bible. The beauty of the Chinese written form is that it can be read in Mandarin or in Cantonese. Example the people in China and those who know Mandarin will read it in Mandarin and those in Hong Kong will read it in Cantonese.

Thanks for sharing your collection! I was pleased to learn recently that the Gideon New Testaments have different colors for different purposes. Like the green ones were to be handed out to college students. The white ones were for medical workers. Orange was for general sidewalk evangelism. And so on.
