Changes in curriculum to mould the students to directly take up the job more practically without much training and experience is crucial to bag the job. The interview insisted on the role of higher education institutions for the same. Nowadays the organisations need only candidates who could immediately take up their projects and perform well. They are not insisting for post graduates but graduates with excellent IQ.

A very useful interview by Mr. Karthik about the present higher education, research and innovation. Dr. Gopal Pathak has given wonderful answers and guidance also from his own experience. He has well explained about the digital tools and AI available for the present generation to easily excel in their knowledge and performance. With the web the entire world is accessible through our hand/ table device. Any book anywhere in the world on any subject in any library is easily accessible to the students. Instantly they could clarify their doubts without a teacher and all could dynamically visualise the concepts very well without any laboratory or factory visits. In my opinion all the paper books and note books should be eradicated and right from LKG to research scholars only one Digital note book with wifi connectivity everywhere is sufficient to search, study and gain knowledge and practical experience. Till a few years back,I preserved all my science, maths, engineering books and maps for all states and countries for my reference and guidance. But, as I could get all the information in the above from my mobile, I disposed of all my paper books and now I'm more comfortable with my mobile for getting any information even with the help of AI. If the government changes the curriculum suitable for the present developments and challenges and implements only digital learning, our children will be comfortable without the need for carrying a lot of paper books/ note books.
