Get some proper tropical riding gear, it exists, helps a lot in summer. I've got a set from Thai brand Assero, but it seems like they might be out of business. I'm sure there's others that make tropical riding gear though, mesh jackets aren't hard to find, I know some riders use motocross armor in mesh instead of a jacket when it's hot. Assero's tropical riding jeans especially are kinda amazing, shame they seem to have gone under.

I dont think its a con that its not loaded with driver aids. Literal aids sometimes.. This bike will teach you how to ride. Less things to worry about, less things to break.

@@rykehuss3435 I actually agree with that now. I now ride an XSR900 and I went for an older one because I wasn't a fan of all the rider aids on the newer ones & for the fact that's it's not the nicest thing to look at 😂

The most unsafe I've ever felt is in high winds. I remember riding home from work in the great storm of 1987, and changing lanes without any input. Trucks lifting onto 2 wheels even with their sheeting up, bus shelters were blowing across roads and trees were tumbling to left and right. How I made the 30 miles home I'll never know. Just pulling the clutch in could reduce speed by 30 mph.

@@Mr---mr4ll it passed an mot with an advisory. I've been past many police with no issue. I have an Akrapovic on my xsr900 now and that also passed an mot without the baffle in. You'll just have to take the risk I guess 🤘🏻
