i just put these in also last weekend and they are amazing! i am very curious how you will jet and get your bike running well. the lunchbox filter i saw you got was a pain to jet and tune and i went back to the original airbox. Your project looks very good! :)

@@nsharg thank you for your comment your support is much appreciated, I think I may restrict the air flow to the filter by creating a cover for the top of the filter this will also help with the hot air issue that someone mentioned, this is not something I planned as it’s my first build, the original air box is no good now as Ive altered the frame! Stay tuned as I will cover it in videos in the future!

With that thickness of material i'd suggest you to weld at a little higher amperage to get deeper penetration. Maybe also add a bit more filler. Overall the weld looks good though! Keep it up!!
