Dead in 2023? It's not as if it just happened 😂 You can blame the labels, I suppose. They obviously don't have any interest in lyrical content. It's not part of the label formula. But there's still no shortage of consumers, sadly. I think stereotypically, the younger consumers don't much care for lyrics. (Obviously there's exceptions, I'm speaking in generlizations) They'll happily say nonsensical 💩 so long as it sounds cool sonically 😂

The “Lofi” pop genre is different from actual “Low-Fidelity” music. Lofi as a pop genre is similar to artists like Joji and bedroom-pop type styles which is what this is referring to. My vocals are clear and high quality, but in Lofi-fashion I used a traditional Rhodes piano sound with bit-crushed drums and a basic sinewave oscillator for the bass! So this is 100% Lofi.
