every day we are trying to load to target the code is not into production still it in testing phase 1st day the vendor sends 10 columns with the header and coma separeted and we load that file to target and next day the vendor sends 5 columns and 4 columns like this every day in the file but vendor is not changing any columns or add new columns and the vendor jumbling position of the columns and vendor is not pass null for missing columns this is the structure the file need to load data without losing any record how will you load the data to target in power center

hi, while practicing by mistake instead by using one dummy field i used the sequence TF with the source direct & got the same values as required..so why the dummy field used not directly connected to the source TF as getting the same values? sorry in advance if its a silly question... just wanted to be clarify the topic more
