Ryan can I ask what this is all about? I guess from what I'm gathering Alex has a deal flow firm for private equity firms? I guess a general partner for these firms where he provides deal analyses which are called "theses" for their IC (Investment Committees) ????
@RyanRaySr
@RyanRaySr 6 ай бұрын
Yes, he works a lot for PE, but not sure if that is only who he works for thought. Depends on the size of the PE, something the GP sets the thesis. Larger ones might have committees

This is great advice! As a new employee in a technical field having timelines gives me the ability to work far more effectively. If my boss told me then he needs in by the end of the day and I am not even close by lunch, then I know I need to clarify with by boss. Either I’m missing information, not making the right assumptions, or his timeline is off. Either way I have a barometer for when I need to seek clarification. I can’t tell you the number of times I come back a week later to by boss with a full report and calculations when all he was looking for as an estimation.

Track the time you spend on your phone and set restrictions on usages. Block off time to get on, be engaged, and log off. Also, spend time creating because if you are doing that you can’t scroll. Most of the content I create I use google docs or bear to create so I’m not tempted to scroll while I’m on the platform.

Does the book tell you how to express a cogent, coherent thought on a KZbin video? If so, then please reread that chapter.

Nowadays, everybody labels everything. All you have to do is disagree to become a hater. It doesn’t matter if you’re wrong or right. Small minded people use small minded terms to discuss small minded theories and ideas and spread discontent. knowledge is strength. If you’re afraid to answer the hard questions or ask them, you’re part of the problem become a part of the solution. Take the shit that people feed you and turn it into a strength in which you can grow from.

Right part of the reason I think you should take the comments to those who know you and will give honest feedback. At time they are just haters and other times they are spot on.

You dont. The world beats you down into cynicism. Unless you live in an alternate reality

How to be a nicer person? Try to emphathize. Start thinking about why people are acting how they act, what struggles they could be going through. It gets so much easier to be nice when you view the world through that lens.

“Hello, there! I have analyzed your KZbin channel, I have watched all your videos, your channel has great quality content, but still it is not serving the right audience due to SEO issues. I noticed the problem with your channel is that your 1. SEO score very low, title-description-tags are not SEO friendly, invalid metadata? 2. Video tags and Channel tags are weak? 3. Low video views, limited audience engagement, stagnant channel growth, etc? If you give me permission, I will shear some tips for your channel. As a result, your channel grows and develops day by day and your channel wills high rank in search results. 100% I can guarantee to improve subscribers and video views on any KZbin channel with my experience”.

myth? I don't think so, this is more a trope, that those who lack the talent and or skill to be able to earn at the top level, have somehow failed by ending up teaching others and is intended as a slam to the recipient of the comment most often because the recipient may have inherent insecurities due to not performing at the top levels of said activity or profession, not a comment on those that teach per se, IMHO
@RyanRaySr

It’s definitely a trope but plenty of top producers teach. I see a lot of talk about “he/she wouldn’t sell a course if he was a top producer” that’s more of what I’m taking about. In the end. Some can do both and others can only do one really well. There is no one size fits solution
