We visited this spa on April 24. Sadly, the once-and-last visit. We had taken to some various good comments and decided to try. This place was packed with people, assuming they were also curious and probably deceived by the so called good comments they saw. I should say that their crowd management is really bad. If they are looking to host international visitors, I would suggest they at least have someone minimally 1-2 or 3 who is able to converse in English to attend to this group of customers. Otherwise, it would end up being a hand signal, or we'd be talking about east and they'd interpret it as west. Yes, some may say, just use the translator tools, etc. You probably do not have the time to do so when there are tons of people around, or they do not have the time to wait for your translation and theirs back to you in English. It was a chore. Their headwashing room is a mixture of both female and male genders. I was quite taken aback by it. I should think the gender differentiation section is still more advisable than mixing both genders together, even though it is just hair washing, because for guys, we go topless and for women, they may go braless. At first glance, I could see some stuff unsightly. Furthermore, there are lots of people moving in and out. It was more like a gambling den than a place for relaxation. Very noisy and distracting. As for their massage room, it is also a mixed-gender room. There are no doors but thin curtains only. Per section is a two-floor mattress, and if you are not with a friend but alone, you probably get someone else next to you, and it is really close, like a very short arm-length away. You could probably see a half-naked woman or man next to you when you turn around. And, honestly, doing oil massage on the floor is not as comfortable as doing it on a proper massage bed. Further to that, the room is like a place filled with fishmongers. Massuers talking among themselves, playing on their phone while one hand massaging you or massuers talking and laughing with some customers and vice versa. What a joke! For a moment, I thought I was there for a networking session. Haha. Some of the male masseurs can be quite a turn-on and have a good look with their height, build, and charm. It is really a pity they are doing only this type of work. Wasted! Some were rather cheeky types. I had this quite good-looking guy who seemed to accidentally touch your private area over and over again. When I looked at him, he gave a cheeky and playful smile, as if he enjoyed it. Lame! In fact, I was hoping the massage would be conducted in a quiet room. Therefore, when I requested from him for a quiet room, he led me to the toilet instead. Again, what a joke. Well, after clarifying with the team, I realized they only have that fishermonger room for everything-foot-to-body massage all mixed up in just that room. Their changing room is in a small area in the basement. Low ceilings probably might hit your head if you are not cautious or too tall when walking down. It is also packed with people down there changing and/or some people in and out of the steam room next to the changing room. You have a few topless men, women don’t know each other and looking hard at one another. I witnessed with my pair of eye. So awkward and speechless. The whole experience at this place is mentally horrendous and for the word, relaxing; it is not even on the list. It is more of a highly tense place than a spa, I should say. Maybe it suits their local people, but certainly not the majority of global travelers who have been to better-class spas for true relaxation and destress purposes.
