Jay has always been fast in the desert.. either atv.. or dirt bike.. or sxs.. he's always been the one to catch. So glad to see a Barstow native putting it down out there!! EDIT: I KNOW HE WASNT DRIVING IN THIS VIDEO.. JUST A GENERAL STATEMENT.

@@Blaisracingservices I have enjoyed following your racing career through your email list both in the desert and on the dirt track. I love the desert and competition as well. I competed in district 37 and 38 enduros in the 1980's. I enjoyed the desert on two wheels up until my injury in 2005. Best of luck in the 2019 season!

how big are the laps on average? do you run on a gps map ? i dont see many markers out there.

Laps are generally 30-45 miles. This one was a 75 mile lap. Races are 150-300 miles and fun. We run a GPS track but there are markers on the turns only mostly.

Great job Chris- Congrats. The driver makes the difference + proper wrenching & setup. The video is a great testament to your suspension set up & service. Camera not shaking video like crazy.

Were on version 15 of my suspension and it keeps getting better. It rides like a cadillac in the small stuff and still handles the big hits. Tons of time goes into our prep and it has paid off for sure.

Had to turn the shocks outward to clear the front end gusset kit. Trinity Exhaust. This is around the Stoddard/ Bell Mountain area in the CA desert.

Did you use universal hand controls or did you fab them? I will be getting one once my big check comes in. I'm a t9 complete. So you have to transfer in?

James Davidson I used the monarch hand controls and just made a temporary bracket to try different positions. I’m a T7 and getting in and out is no problem. 3 inch deep dish wheel and additional1.5 inch spacer gets the wheel close and I can keep the seat back for more leg room.
