LATINOS UNIDOS LATINOS THE STRONGEST:Thank you, Fatima Liseth for this fight it brought back memories. Randall was the quicker of the two with his boxing skills, However, Ramos was an Excellent counter puncher and inside technician who could break drown a fighter with executions too the body with Precision and a crushing left hook and this was one of the keys too victory for Primo Ramos. Primo Ramos put up a Great Performance.

Para los que están jodiendo con lo de Chávez les diré que noquear a alguien no siempre depende de pegada o cálidad muchas veces depende de estilos. Un ejemplo es que Ali tuvo tres difíciles peleas respectivamente con Fraizer y Norton, éstos a su vez pelearon con Foreman que los K.O en dos raund, mientras esté último fue derrotado brutalmente por Ali.

Randall was 6!! Years away from superstardom here from when he would beat the Great Julio Cesar Chavez. His career was looking very promising here coming into this fight but this KO defeat put him back for a couple of years then he built him self up again into the 1990’s with his win over Chavez. Ramos career just kinda went on from here not shots at a world tittle or anything. Shame really.

No he wasn't, if anyone was an addict it was Chavez. From what I understand, after Chavez beat Taylor and stopped facing any serious competition he started drinking a lot and even in training camp. Don King wasted the best years of Chavez's career, coming off the win over Taylor Chavez should've been fighting Whitaker. Although in 1991 Georgie Benton said in a Ring Magazine that they didn't want the Chavez fight, they wanted to wait until Chavez got a little older and slowed down a bit. Well he went 3 and half years without any serious competition! Don King talked him into dumping his IBF title instead of fighting Rafeal Pineda. Oh well.It was interesting to see Randell reignite his career 7 years later.

@@trinidadrodriquez876 Anyone who's EVER watched the Whitaker - Ramirez fights knows he won a unanimous decision in both. I've never ONCE seen ANY major boxing publication acknowledge Ramirez' "win" over Whitaker.....as a matter of fact, Whitaker stayed AHEAD of Ramirez in "The Ring" & "KO magazine's" rankings after the fight. Also, EVERY publication had "Robbery at the Alamodome" as their FRONT COVER PAGE after the Chavez fight.........of course, anyonr here can simply GOOGLE IT.

Ramos was hurting Randall with nearly every punch he threw. Those body shots were making Randall tentative and Ramos noticed a pattern by Randall and if you notice, Primo threw many lead right hooks followed by short, chopping left hooks, of which the final left hook KO'd Randall in a hurry. Chavez' style was much different than Ramos. Ramos was a beautiful punching boxer/puncher, Chavez was very stationary and would bury his chest into yours and out will an opponent. Chavez(in 1987-1988) probably would've out toughed Ramos, but then again, Ramos(I feel) had better one punch KO ability than Chavez.

No way; prime chavez was never a stationary target which was what made him so great. Not to take anything away from randall who certainly came in terrific shape, but the chavez he fought was a 2nd rate version of his prime

Beautiful KO. If Randall would have fought Chavez around this time, he would have been KOed. Anyway, a past his prime Chavez defeated him twice and lost one, all close fights.

Correction. Chavez received a gift in the randall rematch. And the first fight wasnt close. Randall shouldve been 2-0
