Qualcuno mi può spiegare come mai Richard da grande conoscitore ed intenditore di musica è diventato un fenomeno da baraccone?

Absolutely love this song but I can never remember it's called Snail. The name is just so at odds with the sound 😊

Got here from a FB post, haven't listened to this one in a while. Just fantastic. "Nevermind" changed the rock world, but that album was never on the level of Gish, nor was Cobain's talent ever on the level of Corgan. He was important, but not amazing. Sorry not sorry.

I remember burning incense and smoking to this record late into the night, dreaming of leaving my parents house. Its cool to see these comments and know I was I good company. There was a romantic thread through all these songs that really sparked something in my little teenage group of friends. We had our whole lives ahead of us, but were living this romantic dream life. Painting, hiking in the woods, experimenting, playing, and learning. I wouldn't change it for anything.

Unless you intend on simply making a hell of a racket, using effects pedals and distortion with guitars is not easy. I would think you'd need to balance the effects with a clear sense of what you want them to do. So the delicate sounds coaxed from a guitar at the beginning of this song are all the more wondrous for being very carefully chosen; and the psychedelic freakout at the end is masterful too, because it isn't just modulations of white noise (although that can be pretty cool to listen to too). It has direction. It builds and morphs exactly the way it is supposed to. Which is testament to Billy Corgan's genius, and his feel for what works and what doesn't....

I'm in here Please, take me home Starla, dear I'm all alone When you can't decide what's on your mind It's clear I'm hear Starla, dear To disappear takes all my time Starla, dear You're on my mind Soon, soon I'll be leaving Soon, soon I'll be leaving I hear all you're saying I hear all you're failing I'm in here Please, take me home Starla, dear I'm all alone When you can't decide what's on your mind It's clear I'm here Starla, dear Serve yourself No one else can do for you like you No one else fails like me In my eyes, I burn alive Fly like a bird No more words, just you and I, high in the sky
